Bring on the booty! Mom-to-be Salma Hayek, 41, cleaned up at the August 15 baby shower held at her home in the Hollywood Hills.

The nine-months-pregnant Hayek (dad is her fiancé, Francois-Henri Pinault, 45, CEO of luxury goods company PPR) even received doubles of several gifts off her registry at L.A.’s NoMi Boutique. She got Petunia Pickle Bottom Cake bags in both black ($325) and pink ($425), as well as two Bloom high chairs ($400 each) and Graco Snug Ride car seats ($130 each). “She was very excited about everything,” said Pia Lindstrom, who attended the party, where guests – including Hayek’s mother – enjoyed homemade Mexican food.

“She was full of pregnancy glow and looked so happy.”

For Hayek, the baby can’t come fast enough. “Motherhood is not for everyone,” she has said. “It is for me.” And though Hayek has not yet announced whether she’s expecting a boy or a girl, think pink: A source says gift cards were made out to “Valentina.”

Bridget Bans Tom!

Bridget Moynahan has reportedly told Tom Brady - the father of her child - she wants “nothing to do with him”.

The New England Patriots’ quarterback - who split from the ‘I-Robot’ star in December after three years together - was present at the birth of their son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, in California on August 22 but reportedly left the hospital in tears.

A witness at the St. John’s Health Centre in Santa Monica said: “As he left the hospital with his parents around 9.45pm his eyes welled up. “I felt so bad for him because he was upset.”

Sources close to Bridget, 36, claim she has told Tom she does not want him in her life as she feels he neglected her during her pregnancy. A source said: “Bridget wants nothing to do with Tom. The mood at the birth was very sombre. “Their parents gave them time alone to try and work things out, but Bridget is very bitter.”

The 30-year-old footballer has been dating Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 27, since January.

Bridget’s representative Christina Papadopoulos released a statement this week saying: “She is thankful for a healthy baby and is excited about being a mother. “She was very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth and spend a few days with their new child.”

David Beckham hurt his knee

Becks has went ahead and sprained a ligament in his knee. The L.A. Galaxy confirms he will be out of commission for 6 weeks while his knee checks into rehab.

People Magazine reports:

During the 30th minute of play in the Galaxy vs. CF Pachuca Superliga final at the Home Depot Center on Wednesday evening, Beckham suffered a fierce tackle on the left corner of the field. He went down hard and stayed down.

All in the stadium were on their feet as Beckham, 32, signaled to the bench for assistance. He limped to the sideline as a substitute stepped onto the field to fill in.

With the score tied 1-1, Beckham hobbled back onto the grass in the second half of overtime play. "I had to get back out there to cheer on the lads as much as I could," he said after the game.

Team KFED have finally nabbed Britney's former manager, Larry Rudolph.

Larry went into hiding and was said to be on vacation, but he was caught in Los Angeles.

A source told UsWeekly, “It stinks. He was trying to stay out of it and keep a low profile but he obviously didn’t keep it low enough. He really didn’t want to get involved with this as his statement had said. He’s obviously not thrilled about it.”

Eyebrow worshipper, Jesse Metcalfe, has revealed a huge and fugly tattoo he got of his ex-girlfriend Nadine Coyle of the UK girls group "Girls Aloud"

The tattoo features a naked Nadine sitting in front of a sun or something like that with a lasso around a throbbing heart.

Nadine and Jesse broke-up back in April, but they were recently caught "canoodling" together again. Jesse said he got that ugly mess on his arm to remind him of the relationship.

Nick Carter asked his mother, Jane Carter, to care for his dog Layla while he's busy working on the Backstreet Boys reunion tour. Nick was even paying Jane to care for her.

Well, Jane turned around and dropped Layla off at an animal shelter in Tampa, FL. without Nick's knowledge.

Nick found out when the shelter checked a microchip implant in Layla. The chip traced back to Ranelle Black who originally rescued the dog from a Los Angeles animal shelter. She let Nick adopt Layla in 2006. Ranelle called Nick and he had no idea.

His rep said, "Nick is devastated and frustrated, and is doing everything he can to get Layla safely back." Nick is working to either charter a plane to bring her back or hire handlers to bring her safely back to him. Commercial airline have a pit bull ban.

Lachey to raise money for Jeffre in Cincinnati

Nick Lachey’s back in Cincinnati Saturday, and it’ll only cost you 20 bucks to see him. The Cincinnati native will help his high school friend, Justin Jeffre, raise money for Jeffre’s campaign for Cincinnati City Council. The party is 7-9 p.m. at Club Bang, 314 W. Fourth St., downtown.

Lachey was in town in May to help raise awareness about hunger. He and Jeffre went to the School for Creative and Performing Arts together and went on to be with the band 98°. Lachey is working on a new album.

Diva Jessica Simpson 11 hours late for Promo?

Jessica Simpson was allegedly 11 hours late for a promotional interview. The actress was due to speak to Lara Spencer of America’s ‘The Insider’ show at 10 a.m. However, Jessica didn’t arrive until 9 p.m., leaving Laura - who had flown to Louisiana, where Jessica is currently filming new movie ‘Major Movie Star,’ to conduct the interview - waiting for 11 hours.

Jessica’s spokesperson blamed the wait on miscommunication, saying, “Jessica did the interview as soon as she was free from shooting.”

Last week, Jessica’s co-star Vivica A. Fox dismissed claims the busty blonde was a diva. Vivica, who appears alongside Jessica in ‘Major Movie Star,’ insisted rumours Jessica has behaved like a spoilt brat were just “vicious lies.” She said, “Those vicious lies they put out were just that - lies. “She was so much of a team player. She was gracious and so down to earth.”

Vivica insists Jessica - who plays a Hollywood star who joins the US Army in the movie - worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices. She added, “She showed a lot of physicality, like 90 per cent of all her own stunts, and she sacrificed so much of her body for this movie.”

Jessica Biel hosted the grand opening of the Ivy Hotel over the weekend, with guests in attendance including Nelly, Ashanti and Brody Jenner. The Ivy partnered with the Make the Difference Network, Jessica’s charity. The Ivy is also partnered with Hollywood Entertainment Museum’s at-risk youth educational program. Joss Stone performed on Saturday evening while Jessica hosted on Friday evening.

Jessica’s man, Justin Timberlake was nowhere to be found. Jessica was accompanied by many of her “people” as well as family and friends. JB decided not to speak with the press, probably because she is sick of talking about JT.
