Review of the book Never Ever Give Up by Erik Rees

This book was about a child who found out she had a brain tumor and would have only 12-18 months to live. So they try to make her life as pleasant as possible so her last remaining months would give her pleasure instead of pain. This child also felt bad for other cancer patients and started a charity to help them out as well called joyjars which were jars filled with goodies and toys to give to children with cancer to brighten their days. She ended up dying at the end but it was a book about encouragement and I really enjoyed it.

Review of the book Move On by Vicki Courtney

This book is about being honest with yourself about your sins and your life and how when you do that, your life is better and how Jesus died for our sins so once he has forgiven us there is no need to shame yourself because the past is in the past.

I like how the book after each chapter has questions to think about what you just read. One question says " How would you characterize your church? Is it a hospital for broken people or a showroom for polished pretenders? I would say my Kingdom Hall is for people who pretend a lot about their life and struggle with being honest. How would you say your core group of Christian friends is more likely to engage in the pretender game or come clean about struggles they are experiencing? I would say in this case come clean about struggles they maybe facing. Think about your average day and take a quick inventory of some of your behaviors that could be labeled as people pleasing. Write down examples that come to mind. Mine is always saying yes to people even when I don't want to do something. I just can't say no. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being very important, how important is it for you to have others approval? Why do you think that is? I would say a 10. I care alot about what people say about me and think about me, I guess I just need peoples approval in my life.

All in all I enjoyed this book and read it all in one afternoon just lying in bed.

Review of the book The Healing Quilt by Wanda Brunstetter

I really enjoyed this book. I read in about 2 days. Its about an Amish family that decide to teach a quilting class in their home. The people that are taking the class are a pregnant lady named Jeniffer, Mike a person who works for a boating company, Erika, who is a wheelchair bound teenager, Kim a waitress, Noreen a woman who is newly widow, BJ an artist. And its about how the people bond together to become friends.

Review of the book The Confession by Robert Whitlow

I liked this book. I read all of it in 2 days! This book is about a young man named Holt who as a kid lost his friend in a car accident and Holt was driving at the time but never took credit for the accident. When the police asked Holt who was driving he said his friend was so he wouldn't have to ruin his life as well. Well he grows up to be a lawyer and his secret turns up to bite him in the butt. He ends up having to be honest about what happened and lost his job and his one best friend. I don't really remember the book now so I am not sure what to put into the review, maybe I should re read this book. I can't even remember what genre this book is in or what is really about. I can't even remember who the author is. I am not even sure I talked to people about this book. I honestly do not even what to say right now. I think this was in the mystery police category but I am not completely. Maybe I read this book to fast to comprehend what is going on and such. I think what to get from this book is always be honest, because if you do not tell the truth, it will come out and you can get caught and have consequences. And that is always bad. I have had the truth come out many times and I had to deal with the consequences.
