Review of the book Surviving Your Serengenti by Stefan Swanepoel

This book was a really good read. This couple goes to Africa on a trip and learns a lot about themselves and the animals. They learn a lot about lions, wildebeest, crocodile, cheetah, giraffe, mongoose and elephant. And we learn from the author about how these animals behave in the wild and what there strengthens and weaknesses are and how we can learn from them and find out what animal we are.

I found out by taking the quiz at the end of the book that I am most like a giraffe. As a giraffe the book says I seek to make others feel like they're one of the most important people with whom they can spend time, and always put the needs of others first. And that I live according to a personal code that is higher than normal standards of conduct, and incoporate dignity, honor and respect in extending grace to others-even when things have not gone their way.

I really enjoyed this book and would reccomend it to anyone. I will say this, this was not really a Christian book at all so if a person wants just a religious or Christian type of book then you may not want to pick this up. So close to 250. I truly do put people first because I don't feel myself worthy of me time, I always want to be there for others. Sort of like my mother in law, she is always putting others first. She is awesome.

Kirstie Alley claims she lost “90 pounds” to get down to her 22-inch waist

Kirstie Alley continued her fashion offensive today as she stepped out in a stylish ensemble. The Dancing With The Stars runner-up slipped into a belted shirt-dress, which she wore over her trademark leggings.

Kirstie recently has lost 90lbs since she first decided to join the dancing competition.
And Alley certainly appeared confident in her skin today as she left the Tribeca Hotel in New York.

The actress looked youthful, with her hair swept back into a ponytail, completing her look with a dramatic belt, a beaded purse and Christian Louboutin heels.

Yesterday she appeared on the U.S. daytime talkshow The View.

Speaking on the show, she said: ‘I lost 60 before [the show] and 30 during,’ she said.

Panelist Whoopi Goldberg revealed she has been a fan through both the 60-year-old’s highs and lows.

‘I always thought you looked good no matter what,’ she said.

As well as a rigorous workout regime, Alley also credits her transformation to her own weight loss programme, Organic Liason.

‘I don’t think I could have made it through Dancing with the Stars without it,’ she said.Kirstie now has a new goal in her sights - to squeeze into a new dress in time for a holiday in Italy later this year.

She claims it has a 22 inch waist, although given Megan Fox would be one of the few women able to wear it, it seems she may be exaggerating.

‘I tried it on, and I can almost zip it up,’ she told America’s Life & Style magazine last week.

She is confident she’ll be able to get in it by the time she jets off in a few weeks.
‘I’ll be my target size by then,’ she said.

Alley, who was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, has kept up dancing since the competition’s finale in May.

‘I’ve been dancing almost every day since the show ended,’ she confides. ‘I like all the Latin dancing. It’s the best exercise and the best cardio.’

Review of the book A Placed Called Blessing by John Trent

This book was very good to read. I read it all in two days. I could not put it down. This book is about 3 foster kids who are all brothers who are trying to find a home to live. It ends up that the two older brothers found a home but the younger one did not and ended up being situated from his 2 older brothers. So he grows up trying to find them and himself. He ends up finding this great home and lives with his work mate and the work mates mom. He ends up loving that family and becoming part of the family. The sad part is that his work mate ends up dying of cancer at the end of the book and the brother has to deal with that in his life. I am not saying everything in the book because I don't want to give away all the book in case someone wants to read it themselves. I also want to point out that this book while a good read is not really a Christian books like others on booksneeze.com but its a great book nonetheless. Cancer and death sucks when it has to do with a close family. I wish death was not a part of this world but it is a part and it sucks. Death robs us of so much and so does grief as my friend learned after she lost so many people in her life and she struggles with it. .

Jackass Star Ryan Dunn Was Drinking The Night Of His Fatal Car Accident

So sad and SO avoidable!

Earlier today, we were devastated to report that Jackass star Ryan Dunn passed away early this morning in a car accident in Pennsylvania, alongside an as-of-now unidentified person.

Now, a Twitter picture of Dunn drinking the night of his fatal car accident has been revealed, along with photos of the results of the massive car wreck (above).

Apparently, Ryan was driving his porsche along with a passenger, but then he "lost control" and "slammed into a tree" and his porsche "burst into flames."

The only way they were able to identify Ryan was by his tattoos and facial hair.

'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn dies in fiery Pa. crash

Police in southeastern Pennsylvania say "Jackass" cast member Ryan Dunn has died of injuries sustained in a fiery car crash, and speed may have been a factor.

West Goshen Township police say Dunn and a passenger died after his 2007 Porsche left the roadway and burst into flames. The crash occurred near the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester.

The 34-year-old Dunn appeared on MTV shows "Jackass" and "Viva La Bam" and the three "Jackass" big-screen adaptations. He also was the star of his own MTV show, "Homewrecker," and hosted "Proving Ground" on the G4 cable network.

In a statement, MTV calls Dunn "a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade."

The passenger who died has not yet been identified.

Review of the book The Quotable Rogue, The ideals of Sarah Palin in her own words by Matt Lewis

**I want to start off by saying that I do not get involved in politics or voting.I do like Sarah Palin but I do not support her in anyway. I just liked her show on TV because it was more about nature and animals then about politics**

This book was just a book of quotes that Sarah Palin has said in her lifetime and they complied all the quotes together. I will simply put the quotes that I liked that Sarah said on here and that will be my review.

The first quote I liked from her was on Health Care and how Obama is handling it. " When he is up there and he is telling us basically,"I know best, my people here in the White House know best, and we are going to tell you that, yes, you do want this essentially nationalized health care system," and we are saying,"No, we don't." And the messages are not being received by Barack Obama. So I think instead of lecturing, he needs to stop, and listen on health care issues. On national security, this perceived lackadaisical approach that he has dealing with the terrorists. We're saying that concerns us, and we're going to speak up about it, and please don't ... try to make us feel like we need to just sit down, shut up, and accpet what you're doing to us.-Fox News interview with Chris Wallace, February 7,2010

"Not that a Zamboni blade isn't great-I love Zambonis. But should that be a higher priority then what the troopers need in their car?"-Commenting on the Alaska state senate's draft budget with 15,000 going to the Zamboni machine, Anchorage Daily News, April 2,2008.

Do you support the Alaskan Supreme Court's ruling that spousal benefits for state employees should be given to same-sex couples? No I believe spousal benefits are reserved for married citizens as defined in our constitution. -Eagle Forum 2006, general gubernatorial candidate questionare,July 31st 2006.

Will you support the right of parents to opt out their children from curricula, books, classes or survey's which parents consider privacy-invading or offensive to their religion or conscience? Yes. Parents should have the ultimate control over what their children are taught-Eagle forum 2006 Gubernatorial candidate questionnaire, July 31st, 2006.

Faith is very important in my life. I don't believe in I wear in on my sleeve, and I would never try to shove it down anybody else' throat and try to convert anybody. But just a very simple faith that is important to me, is really my foundation.-Hannity and Colmes, September 17th, 2008.

Review of the book The Seraph Seal by Leonard Sweet, Lori Wagner

This book was really good and I enjoyed reading it. I couldn't put it down and read all 400 pages in about a week. This book dealt with the signs of the last days in the bible and how the world was going to end. The didn't get every detail right but it was entertaining to read and that's the best a book can do. The bible clearly states what will happen in the last days such as nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, there will be food shortages, there will be great earthquakes, there will be pestilences, etc. And what makes it so powerful today is that all these are happening more and more rapidly and more and more powerful. We are seeing horrible earthquakes all over the earth of great magnitude more then ever before. That's why its important to be close to GOD and have him on your side when the end of the world comes. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading and being entertained. I learned that Seprah means angel which I learned from my mother in law who knows the bible in and out , she is so awesome. I love learning about angels and what they do for us for example encourage us to be better and come from God who is always watching us and so is the angels. I like reading stories about angels because miracles usually happen and its amazing reading about that and what angels do.
