Jason Aldean Files for Divorce

Less than a week after reports of their separation, country superstar Jason Aldean and his wife of 12 years have decided to legally end their marriage. The ‘Take a Little Ride’ hitmaker filed for divorce on Friday (April 26), citing irreconcilable differences.

People magazine reports that Aldean filed for divorce from Jessica Ussery in Williamson Country in Tennessee on Friday, just one day after a representative for the singer commented on reports of their separation. “I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share with the press at this time,” his rep said. “It’s a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way.”

The separation came less than a year after Aldean was photographed kissing Charlotte Bobcats dancer and former ‘American Idol‘ singer Brittany Kerr in a bar. He and his wife projected a united front in subsequent interviews, but sources told Us Weekly that the couple may have been separated since January. They were photographed together at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards in January, but Ussery didn’t attend the ACM Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Review of the book Letters to Katie by Kathleen Fuller

I really enjoyed this book, I read it in about 2 days. This book is about the Amish people and how they live their life with a bunch of different characters. I enjoyed all the characters. One character is named Katie and how she ends up falling in love with her childhood friend that she thought she would never fall in love with. There was also a story about a grandson who was becoming Amish and joing the Amish community and how is grandma was against at first but then learned about the culture when she visited him and ended up being ok with him being Amish. All in all a very good book and I would reccomend it to everyone.

Another great Amish book to read. I really do feel like I enjoy their part of their culture because it is so interesting to me. I wonder if maybe I was meant to be Amish or something. I like reading authors that write Amish because they do research before they write the book so it really is about what is happening to the Amish and their life. I like their simplicity of their culture and such. I like how much they put into making guests feel welcome such as cooking so much for them, letting outsiders help with chores, etc. I wonder if I could handle the simplicity, I am not sure. I am used to being pampered and catered to. Maybe I could use a break from my life.

Dwayne Johnson Undergoes Emergency Hernia Surgery

UPDATE: Dwayne Johnson's rep tells E! News that the star underwent an emergency hernia operation last night, forcing him to miss last night's Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, Pain & Gain. He is now resting up at home.

The movie's director, Michael Bay, cited the recovery as the reason for his star's absence and suggested the injury stemmed from Johnson's other job wrestling for the WWE.

"Dwayne's hurt tonight," Bay told us on the red carpet. "He was pushing it too hard. [ He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men."

The Rock is taking this "no pain, no gain" thing to heart.

Dwayne Johnson announced he's set to undergo surgery next week for an abdominal tear.

"Saw my Dr who had to push my intestines back thru the tear in my abdomen. Kinda romantic," the pro wrestler turned movie star tweeted on Sunday. "Surgery is next week. #BringItOn."

As it happened, Johnson was MIA for last night's Hollywood premiere of his new action flick, the Michael Bay-directed Pain & Gain costarring Mark Wahlberg.

A  rep for the 40-year-old thesp was unavailable for comment.

But news of the operation comes after Johnson got back in the ring earlier this month to take on rival John Cena at Wrestlemania 29, a title match he subsequently lost.

Kendra Wilkinson Rushed to Hospital After Car Accident

Kendra Wilkinson was taken to the hospital following a bad car accident in L.A.'s Tarzana neighborhood, Us Weekly can confirm. The Girls Next Door alum, 27, was spotted going into Providence Tarzana Medical Center early in the day on April 21.

A source tells Us that Wilkinson -- wife of former NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett III and mom to son Hank Baskett IV, 3 -- was "in shock" and "really sore" after the accident. Doctors examined her to determine what the damage was to her body and whether she had broken any bones, but it appears her injuries were not serious.

"She was taken in earlier," a second source tells Us of the former Playboy model. "She was discharged already."

A rep for the star did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Incidentally, Wilkinson recently expressed fears about getting hurt on the ABC diving competition Splash, leading her to abandon the show earlier this month. "I'm so sorry, everybody. It's bittersweet. One thing I don't do is quit. This is the first time in my life I've quit something," she said. "This will haunt me for the rest of my life."

"Big mistake signing up for the show," she tweeted later. "Sorry I let you all down."

Kim Kardashian Goes Shopping After Finalizing Divorce From Kris Humphries

With her divorce drama now behind her, Kim Kardashian deserved a little retail therapy. Shortly after she reached a settlement with her ex Kris Humphries in L.A. Apr. 19, the pregnant reality star browsed the racks at the Giorgio Armani store in Beverly Hills. She also visited a dermatology center.

Wearing a black dress with matching heels, the 32-year-old showed no signs of sadness. It's not surprising, however, given that Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011 and spent the following 536 days battling the 28-year-old NBA player in court. Humphries celebrated the end of their marriage with a concise tweet: "Couldn't be happier."

Unlike his ex, Humphries did not appear in court Apr. 19; his attorney attended on his behalf. "As a result of this agreement, we will not have a trial in this case," Judge Hank M. Goldberg said. "I want to congratulate the attorneys on both sides. This is a sensible way to resolve this case."

Prior to reaching a settlement, Humphries had been seeking an annulment on the grounds of fraud by alleging their $10 million wedding was a ratings ploy. Kardashian, who will welcome a baby boy with rapper Kanye West in July, is happy to have the matter resolved. "Kanye is the opposite of Kris," a source told Us Weekly in January. "He's so supportive and sweet."

Kim Kardashian Newborn May Be Born In Paris

Kim was sashaying around Paris with baby daddy Kanye West last week and sources close to the couple tell us, she stopped into a hospital specifically to scope out the maternity ward.

We're told Kim is seriously considering popping in Paris for several reasons -- the main one being Paris has strict anti-paparazzi laws ... which is why Halle Berry says she wants to move there.

Another reason ... Kanye has a sick pad in Paris.

And it doesn't hurt that Paris is the fashion capital of the world.

Kevin Federline Gives Britney Spears 'Stern Warning' To Slow Down Romance With Dave Lucado?

It’s been three months since Britney Spears split from her fiancé Jason Trawick, but the Toxic singer didn’t spend much time moping about the failed romance, instead she got right back into the swing of things and met her now boyfriend Dave Lucado.

The new couple have been inseparable since their first public outing in February when they were spotted enjoying a romantic Valentine’s Day meal to a sushi restaurant.

Since then, the pair have been snapped on several other cosy dates, including a sporting day trip to a local golf course, and Brit is said to have already introduced her new man to her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden.

"Kevin doesn’t want the kids to think that any man that Britney dates will replace him as a father figure. This is the second man she has had staying at her house and he fears it could upset the children," a source told Star magazine.

"Ultimately he has Brit and their kids’ best interest at heart but he think she’s diving in too soon with Dave and she needs to slow down," adds the source.

Despite Kevin’s worries, Britney has been telling friends how fond she is off Dave and that she loves the fact he’s just a normal guy with a farm in Virginia.

Kevin and Britney split in 2007 after just two years of marriage and they now both co-parent their sons, attending events for their two boys together where it seems Kevin probably voiced his concerns.

"They have had more time to chat at the children’s soccer games recently and Kevin told her he isn’t happy about her bringing in another man into their lives so soon after Jason," the source continued.

"Kevin is conscious of the impact it will have on their lives and wants their upbringing to be as stable as possible."

Kim Kardashian insisting she only weighs 151 lbs, has only gained 23 lbs

Kim Kardashian’s NOT a food-shoveling, 200-pound, fatso — and Kim is telling friends the proof isn’t in the pudding … it’s in the yogurt.

 We’re told Kim went to the doctor last week for a checkup, and she weighed in at 151 lbs … way less than the 200 lbs the tabloids claim.

 And there’s even less. We’re told she’s gained a grand total of 23 pounds from the time Kanye West impregnated her.

Although there’s an epic headline from one of the tabs — “I Can’t Stop Eating!” — we’re told a lot of this is just plain made up. Por ejemplo … “In Touch” ran a cover pic showing Kim shoving ice cream in her mouth. Fact is … the pic was taken in Monaco in 2009, when she was relatively tiny.

And our Monegasque (Google it) spies tell us … the cone is not topped with the fat stuff … it’s dairy free, sugar free yogurt with fresh strawberries. Sounds disgusting.

I really enjoyed this book. It was about a woman who moved to a new town and fell in love with this local man and his son and they ended up getting together and living a happy life together. Alot happened in between and I enjoyed the story line and getting immersed in the book and reading it all in one day and getting away from my life for a while.

I also liked the discussion questions posted in the back and I will answer a few or two of my own opinion. The second discussion question asked the question, do you agree that beliefs need to be tested, questioned, to be fully understood? I think that yes. Before I found my faith/religion I had to not only learn the truth about the bible and what it really says and study with a person who really had Knowles of the truth and the bible as well but study on my own to see what the bible really says and not just trust the person who is teaching me, that not only what the truth is but to prove it to myself so I could prove it to others as well.And that is why I choose as an adult to get baptized after I learned about my faith/religion because I had proved to myself I knew the truth and that is how I wanted to live my life, by what GOD really is all about and by living my life according to the bible and not misconceptions.

I also like the discussion question number 11. It asks, In what circumstances have you doubted GOD's kindness? Did your perspective change over time? Yes. I used to blame Jehovah God for all my troubles and suffering but then I learned the truth about GOD, that he is loving and kind and does not cause suffering to anyone. You can tell that in many scriptures, one example is James 1:13 which reads " When under trial, let no one say I am being tried by GOD. For with evil things GOD cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone." Bad things in life just happen because of unforeseen occurrences. In Ecclesiastes 9:11 it says this:
because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all" so that just means that life happens sometimes and it doesn't always go great but its not because of Jehovah GOD causing them or suffering.

I also like the discussion question 17 which says, which do you tend to trust more-your mind or your heart and why? I personally would say my heart but it should be mind because as scriptures mention, the heart is a treacherous thing and can trick us.  You can see that in Jeremiah 17:9 which says " “The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate.”

So all in all I enjoyed this book and taking part in all of this reviewing and such.

Jada Pinkett-Smith on Will Smith Open Marriage Rumors: I Tell Him to "Do Whatever You Want"

Hey, whatever works. Jada Pinkett-Smith addressed a longstanding rumor about her 16-year marriage to Will Smith in a new interview with HuffPost Live: That she and Will, 44, have an open relationship.

"No, I think that people get that idea because Will and I are very relaxed with one another," replied the actress and mother of actor-singers Willow, 12, and Jaden, 14. The 41-year-old star then continued of the "persistent" rumor: "But I've always told Will: You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay," she said, without going into further specifics.

"Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man," she said of the Men in Black star. "I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him," she said, adding: "Or vice versa."

The couple have battled more than one false report of an imminent divorce, most memorably in summer 2011, when the couple, who wed in 1997, slammed split rumors -- and talk that Pinkett Smith had an affair with HawthoRN costar Marc Anthony during his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. "Will is my best friend," she told HuffPost Live. "He's been by my side for some of the most difficult parts of my life. You always have that for your foundation."
