Madonna has outraged animal rights groups by dyeing her pet sheep different colors for a photo shoot.

The 'Hung Up' singer and her director husband Guy Ritchie have been branded "irresponsible" after coloring their sheep blue, pink, yellow and green for a Vogue spread at their English country estate, in Wiltshire.

A spokesman for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) said: "Why is it necessary and what are they trying to prove? It is an irresponsible publicity stunt."

The couple say the shoot - which will feature in new book 'Vogue Living: House, Gardens, People' - was staged in homage to legendary photographer Cecil Beaton. The noted portrait photographer lived on the $18 million Ashcombe Estate during the 30s and 40s.

Madonna, 49, and Guy, 39, also insisted the dye used was temporary and did not harm the animals.

However, the RSPCA do not accept their reasoning, and are adamant the stunt could lead to dangerous copycat incidents.

Universal Pictures is trying to replace Bradd Pitt in State of Play with American Gangster star Russel Crowem, according to Variety.

Just this past Wednesday, it was announced that Brad dropped out of the film because of disagreements about the shooting script.

It's been a bad week for David Beckham. England failed to qualify for the European Championships in football, meaning his international career is surely over at a tantalising 99 caps. The News of the World claims Brit Brit Spears is adopting Chinese twins. She is apparently working with an adoption agency and finalizing the adoption. The twins are said to be 6-years-old and Britney is hoping they will feel the hole left in her heart from losing her boys to KFed.

And the jokes keep coming! The News of the World also reports that she's afraid she's going to die soon, so she's spending $50,000 to plan her funeral now.

A source said, "It doesn't seem that Britney has thought this through completely. Adoption and a funeral? The two don't exactly go hand-in-hand. Paying for a funeral is a sensible thing to do—but not when you're only 25!"

Blackout Bombs

Fox News reports that "Blackout" is an official FLOP! Blackout has sold a total of 430,000 copies. Her last album "In The Zone" sold a little over 600,000 in its first week alone. Her first three albums sold around 10 million copies each.

Her latest single "Piece of Me" is only the 37th most downloadable song on iTunes.

Joe is moaning to Page Six about how he's afraid he's going to be killed in prison.

The Girls Gone Wild guy is comparing himself to a 14-year-old Florida kid that was killed by guards in 2006 while being restrained. Joe is currently in Nevada, but must be returned to Florida to face charges for using minors in sexual performance after he videotaped a 17-year-old girl for Girls Gone Wild.

He said, "These are scary people down there. If I get sent back, they will retaliate. They killed that kid . . . I think I would have been dead or I'd be drooling in a cup." He said the guards in Florida wouldn't let him eat or go to the bathroom and put him in ankle shackles which made him bleed.

"They'd put my food just out of reach and laugh with each other, 'Oh, I guess Joe wasn't hungry today.' "

He also said he was tortured in an Oklahoma prison. Guards there threatened to strap him naked to a chair for 48-hours without a blanket.

Linda Bollea has filed for divorce from Terry Bollea after 23 years of marriage.

Terry is best known as Hulk Hogan. She filed divorce papers in Florida on Tuesday, but did not give a reason for divorce. They have two kids, Brooke, 19, and Nick, 17.

Linda is one of the stars of the Vh1 reality show "Hogan Knows Best." The youngest Hogan, Nick, is currently facing charges for driving recklessly after his car slammed into a tree. His passenger and friend is still in the hospital with a brain injury.
