Cameron Diaz Changes It Up
Cameron Diaz has made a name for herself by taking roles in movies that are usually lighthearted and fun, like Something About Mary, Shrek and The Holiday, but now she's looking to branch out a little. Although she's still got a more Shrek coming her way, she's also signed on to do a horror flick called the Box. Cameron did prove she could do something more out there when she was in Being John Malkovich so it will be nice to see her change things up again.

Sharon Stone Looks Ill
Sharon Stone is on the set of a new movie which is clearly different then her slut role in Basic Instinct. She looks beyond fug. In fact, she looks so thin she looks sick. In the movie, which is called Rockett, she plays Jimmy Fallon's mom. Luckily Lucy Liu is also in the film so between Jimmy and Lucy there is still something attractive to look at on the big screen. I'm actually surprised Sharon took this role - she doesn't like people to think of her and old and this film will definitely not help her there.

Jessica Simpson scored her very own creepy wax figure at Madame Tussad's in NYC this week. The statue reminds us of that famous RollingStone cover, but it has been upgraded to her with a microphone in her hand.
Jess doesn't seem to have much time for her music these days now that she's trying to become a Major Movie Star, and she's just announced that she will launch a new fragrance in July 2008. Mitt Romney Is Not Smart
He told a story about how he would strap his dog to the top of their car for family trips.
Mitt would be the family's Irish Setter, Seamus Romney, in a dog carrier above the car. Mitt told a story that on a 12-hour trip from Boston to Ontario in 1983, Mitt's son noticed that brown liquid was dripping onto the windshield, Yes, poor Seamus had gone diarrhea in his carrier. Mitt said he pulled the car over, sprayed down Seamus, the car and the carrier and continued on like nothing.
PETA of course is pissed. They said, "If you wouldn't strap your child to the roof of your car, you have no business doing that to the family dog!"
Mitt laughed it off and said, "He scrambled up there every time we went on trips. He got it all by himself and enjoyed it."

X17 XCLUSIVE - Britney Update - A New Man, A New Agent, A New Explanation For The Letter?
X17 has some MAJOR updates on Britney in the wake of yesterdays events - check this out:
- First of all, we can exclusively report that the infamous letter was not written by an "out-of-state lawyer," as some sites reported, but rather was penned by Britney herself! It was a warning that Britney would file a restraining order if her mother didn't stay away from Sean and Jayden.
- And why might Britney be so mistrustful of her mom's intentions? Well, according to our source, the big reason is Britney's anger over her mom Lynne shopping around a tell-all book which Britney's specifically asked her not to write! But that's hardly all - in addition to being generally suspicious of her mom using the children as a pretext to visit Kevin and conspire against her, Britney's said to be very angry about Lynne's continuing (business) relationship with her old manager Larry Rudolph!
- It was Larry Rudolph, as you'll remember, that Britney blamed for putting her in rehab ealier this year. Our source says drug tests came back negative and that Britney had absolutely nothing in her system when she was admitted to Promises.
- And we're getting confirmation that the motivation for Britney shaving her head was Kevin threatening to have her drug tested and telling her that marijuana use would show up in hair samples even though she didn't "inhale" but was around Kevin when he did. Britney was so worried about losing her kids, she got rid of the evidence during a particularly emotional night.
- Speaking of Britney's management, we can also report that Britney's going to be changing agents - she's making the jump from William Morris to CAA! Could this be tied to her rumored desire to renew her film career?
- Finally, and most titilatingly, we're hearing that Britney may be off the market! According to our source, Britney's become "very good friends" with an unidentified very wealthy man, and that she and Alli have been spending a lot of time hanging out with him! Apparently, he's been her make the aforementioned business decisions - in addition to prompting her to make the switch from William Morris to CAA, he's also helped her settle on a new divorce lawyer!)
Aside from that, Britney's life's been more or less on an even keel - we hear that she's been spending a lot of time with her children and keeping her relationship with sisJamie-Lynn positive even as their family endures these trying times.

Sources tell TMZ that Lynne Spears, Kevin Federline and then-manager Larry Rudolph all pressured Britney to check herself in. We're told Spears acknowledged having emotional problems after her second child was born, but strongly maintained she did not have a drug or alcohol problem.
Nonetheless, multiple sources say Federline threatened to go public by going to court to wrestle custody from her if she didn't go to rehab. Sources say Spears could not withstand the pressure from her mom, Federline and Ruldolph, and checked into Promises last February 20.
We're told eventually the professionals believed Spears suffered from post-partum depression, made worse because she stopped taking Prozac. She was also emotionally crumbling because of a messy divorce and intense media scrutiny.
After leaving Promises, as paparazzi waited for the golden shot of Britney drinking again, she began getting angry that she was at a rehab facility in the first place. Britney and her assistant, Allie Sims, called Promises multiple times, asking for a copy of the report showing that she tested dirty for drugs and/or alcohol when she checked in.
We're told it took several days to get an answer. Only two reports were sent to Britney's rep, both showing no drug or alcohol use whatsoever. Most shocking, the first report was dated March 7, 15 days after Britney checked in.
Sources say one of Britney's reps then called the facility and asked for any evidence of a dirty test, but she was told there was nothing in the file. The question -- if the first test was taken more than two weeks after Britney checked in, how could they treat her if they didn't know the problem?
Britney fired Rudolph and has now drawn a line in the sand with her mom. As for Federline, we're told he's threatened to go to court and question Britney's fitness as a mom every time there's a disagreement. Spears, who is extremely protective, does not want to expose her kids to a public battle, so she's caved on many of his demands.
We're told Britney's legal team has repeatedly asked to have a "private" judge handle disputes in a private office (that's the M.O. of her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, in celeb divorce cases), away from the cameras, but Federline has insisted that everything be handled at the L.A. County Courthouse, where the media could record their comings and goings.
TMZ spoke with Dr. Donna Markus at Promises but she said, because of patient confidentiality, her facility had no comment.
Larry Rudolph and Lynne Spears could not be reached for comment.

Bruce Donates Die Hard Souvenirs
Bruce headed down to DC to generously donate some of his Live Free Or Die Hard memorabilia to the Smithsonian National Museum of History. The museum is now the lucky owner of a dirty t-shirt Bruce wore in the original Die Hard movie, along with some other, more recent props. It will be on display with the likes of R2D2 and C3PO from Star Wars , and the ruby slippers Judy Garland wore in The Wizard of Oz. Tallulah and Rumer were there to support dear old dad, continuing to let us know what a close family they all are. Chris Benoit’s Web Bio Gets a Chilling Update
Somebody altered Chris Benoit’s entry in Wikipedia to mention his wife’s death – before her body was found.
The Web bio was changed early Monday to say the pro wrestler missed a match over the weekend because his wife had died. Hours later, authorities found the bodies of the World Wrestling Entertainment star, his wife and their 7-year-old son.
Cary Bass of Wikipedia traced the alteration to somebody using an internet protocol address registered in Stamford, Conn., the home base of World Wrestling Entertainment, according to the Associated Press.
An IP address, however, doesn’t have to be broadcast from its registration location. Bass said it was unknown where the posting was sent from, the AP reports.
The bodies were found in the family’s suburban Atlanta home. Authorities say Benoit asphyxiated his wife Nancy and their son Daniel before hanging himself.

A source that used to work for Brittany Murphy has reportedly said that Brittany is convinced that “a high-powered Hollywood player” is stalking her.
This past April, Murphy’s boyfriend at the time, Simon Monjack, disappeared for ten days with Murphy claiming that he had been kidnapped by agents of her stalker. Coincidentally, the dates that Monjack was missing correspond to the time that he was reportedly jailed by U.S. immigration for overstaying his visa.
“When he came back, he had head injuries,” says the former insider. “He was pale and sometimes had trouble standing.” Not only that, but the former staffer also claims Murphy said she was unable to pay him because the money had been used for ransom … Monjack, a screenwriter, is not short of enemies. Several anonymous sources have posted unflattering stories on the Internet about his past relationships. On June 13, a man identifying himself as Arturo Globenfeldt posted a message on Monjack’s Imdb.com page claiming he owes him $16 million in film investment money.

Nicole Richie Shops For A Wedding Dress
24 Zizzler is reporting that Nicole Richie is wedding dress shopping for a possible upcoming ceremony to the King of Douches, Joel Madden. Nicole also might be pregnant and that may be the reason for a rushed wedding. You know, so her kid isn't a bastard.

The country of Germany had officially banned Tom Cruise from filming in their country, because he's a Scientology freak!

It's A Girl For Jordan!
Jordana aka Katie Price delivered a baby girl at 8:49 this morning in London. This is her second child with Peter Andre. She weighed in at 6lb and 13oz. The couple haven't released her name, but it's rumored that Jordan would name her daughter, Crystal.

Britney Hand Delivers Lawyer Letter to Lynne
Britney's life always seems like it's full of some sort of drama, and rumor has it that this afternoon the issuses she's been having with her mom came to a head. She drove up to where her mother was in Ventura, CA (side note: does Lynne live in a trailer? I'm confused) to hand deliver what was supposedly a letter from Britney's lawyer -- though not the restraining order we've all heard rumblings about. I gotta say that even with no sound Britney seems like she's being bratty. Who knows what the full story is, or what the letter had to say, but TMZ is reporting that Britney's been angry at Lynne since a few days before heading off to rehab and that she thinks her mom is "unstable" and has "issues." Pot, Kettle, Black.
In other Britney news, Kevin is supposedly refusing to sign the divorce papers until she proves that she's fit for their 50/50 custody deal. Hey, who knows, maybe Brit was visiting her mom to show her something about that mess. Not jumping to conclusions just yet.
