Emily Deschanel Gives Birth To A Son

Bones star Emily Deschanel has popped! She and her husband David Hornsby welcomed their first child, Henry Hornsby, into the world.

The actress' character (spoiler alert) was also pregnant on the show's season finale. The first half of the new season, which starts Nov. 3, will focus on her character's preparation for motherhood.

That should be an easy job for Emily!

Book review of Close Enough To Hear God Breathe by Greg Paul

**This review might offend some people. If you get offended after reading this then please do not leave a rude comment. I will simply ban you and delete your comment. Thanks**

This book had some good points in it but also had 3 misconceptions that annoyed me right now. I liked how the author says that GOD listens to our prayers and he loves us and that he forgives us when we are truly sorry about what we did. All that is fine. What I do not like is when people use scriptures from the bible and misapply them to fit what they believe. The author used many scriptures to support his idea of trinity which is not true from the bible. Jesus is GOD's son and not GOD. That can be heard of in the account in the bible when Jesus gets baptized and GOD's voice comes comes down from heaven saying" This is my son, the beloved, whom I have approved." God could not have been talking to himself but to his son.

The second misconception in this book is about heaven and hell. That when you die that is where you will end up when reality that is not true. The scripture clearly states in Ecclesiastes 9:5 which reads " for the living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." If you want to learn more about this please see my other blog posts as I have gone more into this topic before.

The third and final misconception is about how when you die not only do you go to heaven but that GOD took you as an angel from the earth. That is not true at all. GOD is a loving GOD who loves each and every one of us and would not be cruel like that. When we die, we simply die, we do not go to heaven or to earth. Please again see my other blog posts as well for more information.

In all the book was ok to read, I enjoyed the stories about the author's family but it had way too many misconceptions in it and I would not recommend this book to anyone at all, I will simply throw it away.

Kirstie Alley's dramatic weight loss

Kirstie Alley, who has struggled with yo-yo weight gain and loss for years, is showing off a body 10 sizes smaller after a lot of hard work. The 60-year-old actress strutted the runway during New York Fashion Week -- 100 pounds slimmer! – at her designer friend Zang Toi’s show.

Inspired by her physically demanding "Dancing With the Stars" stint, Alley has gone from a size 14 to a size 4. Before her appearance on the show, Alley said she visualized one day fitting in a size 4, and now she does.

Today, Alley's confidence is contagious, and she says she feels much more comfortable in her body. "I feel like I'm back in my element," Alley told Entertainment Tonight. "I honestly didn't even realize what I looked like."

Her hard-won metamorphosis is not tempting her to take things further. No plastic surgery for the former “Cheers" star. "I haven't had plastic surgery but here's the reason: People do plastic surgery to make you look younger," she said. "I don't think it makes you look younger. I think it can make you look weirder."
Once 228 pounds, Alley saw the scale go up and down a lot and got to the point when she stopped looking at it altogether. After a 15-month hiatus from weighing herself, she finally stepped on a scale. What she saw, she said, was shocking.

"I started screaming," she told People in 2009. "It said 228 lbs., which is my highest weight ever. I was so much more disgusting than I thought!"

At that point, Alley had already lost 75 pounds during her tenure as a spokesperson for Jenny Craig, then gained that weight (and more) back.

Bzz Agent campaign called Blender Bottle

I am interested in trying this campaign: Here is the the page says about it:

The patented BlenderBottle by Sundesa is a great way to mix protein and meal replacement drinks while on the go, but it's also handy for mixing pancake batter while camping, mixing salad dressings and marinades, or just using as a water bottle. The BlenderBottle is the best-selling portable mixer simply because it works. No batteries, no cord, no hassle. Mix It Smooth--Anytime, Anywhere.

I want to try this because my mom in law is always drinking beverages in the car and sometimes the cups/containers are too flimsy and break and make a mess so this would be a sturdy thing to have.

Reese Witherspoon Hit by Car While Jogging

Reese Witherspoon is nursing a quarter-sized gash on her forehead after being hit by a car in Santa Monica during a late Wednesday morning jog.

The Oscar-winning actress and avid runner, 35, was struck at an unmarked crosswalk at the intersection of 20th street and Georgina Avenue. The Walk the Line star "suffered minor injuries," according to the police report, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

A witness at the accident site tells Us Weekly: "The driver seemed to have not seen her because of a large tree at the intersection...[Reese] was lucky, because it could have been much more serious."

The driver, an 84-year-old woman who lives in Santa Monica, was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Witherspoon was released from the hospital by Wednesday afternoon, and is recovering at the Brentwood-area home in L.A. she shares with husband Jim Toth and her kids Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.

Review of the book Stained Glass Hearts by Pasty Clairmont

This book was a good book to read. It was a book about this woman who is trying to be a good christian and look to the bright side on life when something bad happens.

I like that the author talks about having a good set of friends who will uplift you in times of need. I think when you are a spiritual person and have spiritual friends with the same beliefs that you do then you have someone who truly does care about you and becomes like your family and would be willing to do everything for you because they care about you. When I had to move out of my house a while back, my brothers and sisters from my congregation came over to help and really came through for us in a rough time we were going through. Our brothers and sisters in our congregation truly do love us and wants whats best for us and are our family and there is always someone to talk to when you need someone.

I also like the quote on prayer the author says on page 81 which says " Prayer gives us a resource for comfort, wisdom, strength, and unexplainable joy in the midst of the ravenous lions of life." Sometimes if we pray to GOD to help us and its his will and in the name of his son Jesus then he grants us our prayers and it all ends up working out in the long run. And GOD is always there to help us, no matter the time, day ,etc. There is never a busy signal, he is always there to help us.

Santino Marella involved in car accident

Santino Marella suffered a separated left shoulder following a car accident Thursday night in Toronto.

The official WWE website spoke to Marella this morning about the incident.

"I had just left home and was going to get my hair cut before I began packing for WWE's trip to Puerto Rico," explained Marella. "[My barber] wasn't around, so I just decided to go home."

He was then hit by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene of the collision until police arrived, and no foul play is suspected.

"My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in," Marella said. "The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder."

Marella's car came to rest near a light pole, and sustained significant damage.

"There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck," Marella said. “Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out."
