Review of the book A Dream of Home by Amy Clipston

I want to stat off by saying I really like this author and enjoy reading her books. This book is about an English woman who ends up living next to an Amish family who is a dad named Saul and a daughter named Emma. Well turns out Saul and Madeline end up falling in love and she converts to being Amish for him so their love wouldn't been forbidden. I enjoy reading Amish books and watching Amish on tv because I am fascinated by their religion and their way of dressing and life. I am currently watching a tv on an Amish bead and breakfast and how they cannot have electricity or have to do all their chores such as picking up poop from the barn animals and baking pies and such before they can relax and eat. How they do all that without the necessities makes me interested. At the same time I learned stuff about the Amish that I do not agree with such as taking photos or having a car is wrong and they must only drive with a buggy and horse. And when you are shunned from the church you cannot stay in touch with the family is weird to me. I also think their way of dressing is different and weird to me. Why do you have to do put your hair into a bonnet and covered and why do you have to wear a dress down to your ankles and so modest. I just don't get all of it.

Review of the book A Amish Second Christmas

I really enjoyed this book. I read it in about 2 days. This is one of the first stories in the book, there are other stories as well. I only read the first story. I really enjoyed this book. I only read the first one, not the others since there are more books inside the book. This story was about a woman named Katherine who ends up meeting her father in law and starts a relationship with him and he gets to meet his grand kids.

Review of the book Wisdom of Sadhu

I found out alot about this person by reading about his life.

He founded the religion Sikhism, about 1500 AD, is a religion that teaches belief in one God and rejects the caste system

The death of Sundar Singh's mother, when he was fourteen, pitched him into violence and despair. He took out his anger on the missionaries, persecuted Christian converts, and ridiculed their faith. In final defiance of their religion, he bought a Bible and burned it page by page in his home while his friends watched.

Sundar felt that his religious pursuits in Sikhism and the questioning of Christian and Hindu priests left him without ultimate meaning. Sundar resolved to kill himself by throwing himself upon a railroad track. He made a quest that whosoever is the 'True God' will appear before him Or else he would kill himself, that very night he had a vision of Jesus who opened Sundar's soul to the truth. Sundar announced to his father, Sher Singh, that henceforth he would follow Christ. His father denounced him, and his brother Rajender Singh attempted to poison him. Sundar's life was saved by the help of a nearby Christian community

On his sixteenth birthday, he was publicly baptised as a Christian in the parish church in Simla, in the Himalayan foothills. Prior to this he had been staying at the Christian Leprosy Home at Sabathu, near Simla, serving the leprosy patients there.

In October 1906, he set out on his journey as a new Christian, wearing a turban and the yellow robe of a Hindu sadhu, an ascetic devoted to spiritual practice. Singh viewed himself as a sadhu, albeit one within Christianity rather than Hinduism, because he realised Christianity could not penetrate India unless it was in an Indian way.

"I am not worthy to follow in the steps of my Lord," he said, "but, like Him, I want no home, no possessions. Like Him I will belong to the road, sharing the suffering of my people, eating with those who will give me shelter, and telling all men of the love of God."

After returning to his home village, where he was given an unexpectedly warm welcome, Sundar Singh travelled northward through the Punjab, over the Bannihal Pass into Kashmir, and then back through Muslim Afghanistan and into the brigand-infested North-West Frontier and Baluchistan. He was referred to as "the apostle with the bleeding feet" by the Christian communities of the north. He suffered arrest and stoning for his beliefs, and experienced mystical encounters.

Review of the book Noah by Mark Ludy

This book was a picture book that was supposed to show off the life of Noah and him building the ark. I found the book confusing to follow and didn't really understand all the photos in the book. The story of Noah comes from the bible when God asks Noah to build an ark because a flood is coming. Well Noah tells everyone and they don't believe him, so when the flood does come, everyone wants in the boat but they can't and God destroys them and the wicked world and only Noah and his family is safe for being obedient to God and I couldn't figure that out in the book.

Questions and Answers with author Erik Rees

Earlier I did a blog post about a book called Never Give Up by Erik Rees about this daughter who had cancer and then passed away from it. Well, Erik took time to answer some questions he got from some fans of the book and I get to share them with my readers.

Many of your friends and family members walked along side of you during this difficult process. How did this help?
Jessie was blessed to be part of a great school, church and swim team which provided her and our family wonderful emotional, spiritual and practical support. After Jessie moved to Heaven, we didn’t have to cook a meal for four months

Unfortunately, cancer strikes 1 in 300 children before the age of 20. What advice do you have for others who want to help a family with a child fighting cancer?
In the book I list all sorts of simple ways to help families with children fighting cancer. Families need help but don’t want to have to add “managing” the help to their already chaotic lives. The best thing to do if you really know the person is show up and do something. Don’t ask, “how can I help you?” Just help.

Over 80,000 JoyJars have been distributed internationally. How have you accomplished so much in such a small time frame?
We are actually nearing 100,000 JoyJars in all 50 states and 28 countries. We just received a request from Lima, Peru. Social media has been the best channel of communication for us. Jessie simply just started at Children’s Hospital of Orange County and it grew week by week. We now partner with over 275 children’s hospitals and 175 Ronald McDonald Houses.

How did your experiences with Jessie’s illness strengthen or challenge your faith?During Jessie’s fight it strengthened my faith as I depended on God to give me the wisdom, strength and peace to walk with Jessie and the family. I truly thought He would heal her physically. Unfortunately, God choose Heaven as a means of healing which challenged my trust in Him for months. Now, Heaven has never been more real to me and I can’t wait to spend time in eternity with Jessie and my Heavenly Father.

Do you have advice for other Christians who may be questioning God’s plan?I don’t know if I would call it “advice” but I would let them know they are not alone in their feelings. I questioned God many times and still do. I don’t question His love for me or Jessie. I questioned His choice in using Heaven as a healing agent. But now that time has past, I see His plan. Jessie was an Angel sent to Earth with a message (Never Ever Give Up) and a mission (childhood cancer). How else can you explain how one twelve year old girl, fighting cancer, choose to give to other kids and started a global movement of compassion that has raised millions of dollars to “care” for children/families fighting cancer around the world. My only answer is, God had a plan!In addition, I would encourage them to realize God’s plans don’t always match up to our own plans but He is still a loving and caring God. Faith in God is all about “believing” in our hearts and heads that God loves us no matter what and when we fully depend on Him, He will show us the way.

Tell us more about the Jessie Rees Foundation. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. How can we help?
The Jessie Rees Foundation is a global childhood cancer charity dedicated to ensuring every child fighting cancer has the support and resources to Never Ever Give Up. We fulfill our mission by 1) encouraging courageous kids to NEGU, 2) assisting courageous families to NEGU, 3) rallying communities to NEGU for courageous kids, 4) mobilize athletes to NEGU for courageous kids and 5) inspire the world to NEGU for courageous kids.
Each year in the US, the month of September is dedicated to “childhood cancer awareness”. If you have a social media platform, please join our Going Gold campaign and help raise awareness of this devastating disease.

I hope you all enjoyed some of this that I posted and will continue to support my blog!

Joan Rivers, Trailblazing Comic, Red Carpet Fixture, Dead at 81

Joan Rivers, the razor-witted comic and red carpet queen, died Thursday of complications suffered from minor surgery in New York City a week ago. She was 81.

As she had done throughout the past week, daughter and frequent collaborator Melissa Rivers thanked fans for their well wishes and tireless support.

"It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers. She passed peacefully at 1:17 p.m. ET surrounded by family and close friends. My son [Cooper] and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother," Melissa, 46, said in a statment.

"Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.

"My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."

Review of the book Never Ever Give Up by Erik Rees

This book was about a child who found out she had a brain tumor and would have only 12-18 months to live. So they try to make her life as pleasant as possible so her last remaining months would give her pleasure instead of pain. This child also felt bad for other cancer patients and started a charity to help them out as well called joyjars which were jars filled with goodies and toys to give to children with cancer to brighten their days. She ended up dying at the end but it was a book about encouragement and I really enjoyed it.

Review of the book Move On by Vicki Courtney

This book is about being honest with yourself about your sins and your life and how when you do that, your life is better and how Jesus died for our sins so once he has forgiven us there is no need to shame yourself because the past is in the past.

I like how the book after each chapter has questions to think about what you just read. One question says " How would you characterize your church? Is it a hospital for broken people or a showroom for polished pretenders? I would say my Kingdom Hall is for people who pretend a lot about their life and struggle with being honest. How would you say your core group of Christian friends is more likely to engage in the pretender game or come clean about struggles they are experiencing? I would say in this case come clean about struggles they maybe facing. Think about your average day and take a quick inventory of some of your behaviors that could be labeled as people pleasing. Write down examples that come to mind. Mine is always saying yes to people even when I don't want to do something. I just can't say no. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being very important, how important is it for you to have others approval? Why do you think that is? I would say a 10. I care alot about what people say about me and think about me, I guess I just need peoples approval in my life.

All in all I enjoyed this book and read it all in one afternoon just lying in bed.

Review of the book The Confession by Robert Whitlow

I liked this book. I read all of it in 2 days! This book is about a young man named Holt who as a kid lost his friend in a car accident and Holt was driving at the time but never took credit for the accident. When the police asked Holt who was driving he said his friend was so he wouldn't have to ruin his life as well. Well he grows up to be a lawyer and his secret turns up to bite him in the butt. He ends up having to be honest about what happened and lost his job and his one best friend. I don't really remember the book now so I am not sure what to put into the review, maybe I should re read this book. I can't even remember what genre this book is in or what is really about. I can't even remember who the author is. I am not even sure I talked to people about this book. I honestly do not even what to say right now. I think this was in the mystery police category but I am not completely. Maybe I read this book to fast to comprehend what is going on and such. I think what to get from this book is always be honest, because if you do not tell the truth, it will come out and you can get caught and have consequences. And that is always bad. I have had the truth come out many times and I had to deal with the consequences.

Jessica Simpson Got Married

For her nuptials to Eric Johnson on July 5, Jessica Simpson didn’t opt for a slinky silhouette to show off her incredible post-baby body. Instead Simpson, who turns 34 on July 10, teamed up with fashion icon Carolina Herrera to create a sumptuous champagne and gold strapless multi-layer tulle gown.

“The whole dress is embroidered in gold and feels very regal,” Herrera tells PEOPLE of the design. Her goal was to transform the bride into a “beautiful golden girl,” says Herrera, who first met Simpson at Vanity Fair‘s post-Oscars party in 2010 and recently dressed her for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in May.

To complete the custom look, Simpson wore a cathedral length veil, Brian Atwood shoes and Neil Lane jewelry. As a final touch, Herrera added a blue ribbon on the inside of the gown as Simpson’s something blue. “I always do that because I think it brings good luck,” says Herrera, who also shared her inspiration board for the dress with PEOPLE.

Review of the book Mindwar by Andrew Klavan

I really enjoyed this book, I read it in 2 days! It was about a boy who got asked to be put into a video game to help save the world and what happens in the video game affects him in real life. Like if he gets hurt in the video game, in real life he gets hurt as well! In the end everything worked out and the world was saved. I liked how the unreality is better than the reality. Sometimes these books are great for just getting away and don't involve much thinking to read it, just a light read. I would probably read more books by this author. I think it would be cool if we could end up in a video game and try to save the world, I don't play much video games or such but maybe if this opportunity came up I would. This wasn't really a Christian book, it was just a normal book which is ok sometimes. I liked how helpful the character in the book was. He took it upon himself to save the world. I really enjoyed that. I enjoyed this book so much I told my dad about it and he was enthused as well. I would probably share this book with others so they could enjoy it as much as I did. Sometimes I wish my life could be so exciting and have so many things going on, because life gets boring for me sometimes with my husband working all the time and I am by myself.

Kendra Wilkinson Threw Wedding Ring in Toilet When She Discovered Hank Baskett's Affair With Transgender Model

Post-baby heartbreak. Just five weeks after giving birth to daughter Alijah, Kendra Wilkinson was forced to face a bitter, shocking truth: As rumored, husband Hank Baskett had indeed cheated with a transgender YouTube model named Ava Sabrina London. As revealed in the new issue of Us Weekly, out now, former Playboy model Wilkinson, 29, first laughed off reports of Baskett's April tryst with London, 25.

But when NFL pro Baskett, 31, didn't rush to clear his name in the press, his wife grew suspicious and "started snooping," a source explains to Us. Once Wilkinson discovered an unexplained—and damning—charge on his credit card, she "flipped out," the source says. In a rage, she punched walls in their Calabasas, Calif. home, threw their 2009 wedding photos into the pool, and even pulled off her wedding ring, flushing it down the toilet, the source says.

"She was extremely angry," the source observes of Wilkinson, who also shares son Hank IV, with Baskett.

Review of the book A Mother's Secret by Amy Clipston

I really enjoyed this book. It was about a mother named Carolyn who has a 16 year old son that many people do not know is her son. They think her parents actually take care of him and that she is her aunt. Well the truth finally came out and she ends up falling in love with this guy named Joshua and they end up getting married and living happily ever after.

I liked the discussion question in the book and the question was Ruth quotes 1: John 3:18 which says " dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with action and in truth", I agree with this scripture because being a christian means with love our brothers and sisters and show it in everyday and action we can. I like when books talk about scriptures and get the meaning right. So many people twist the scriptures to make themselves better or tickle the ears of other people but when you get it right, it is awesome. I believe this was another Amish book which I enjoy reading. They fascinate me. If it were up to me, I would only Amish books because I am so fascinated which is weird. I really just enjoy books on different religions and like to see the differences between my religion and others. Mine is really strict and live on the code of the bible and others don't take everything the bible says as truth and live differently. I just find that interesting.

Chris Jericho says he'd be OK if he never wrestled again

LONDON, May 11 (UPI) --Semi-retired WWE wrestler Chris Jericho said that if he never wrestles again, it wouldn't bother him.

Jericho, whose real name is Chris Irvine, has left the World Wrestling Entertainment a few times now, but said that he'd be OK with it if he never returned.

"You know if I never wrestle again it won't bother me, I don't want the big send-off -- I don't want the big farewell match where I'm in the ring crying in front of 70,000 fans because I'm such a hero and my career is done, I don't look at it that way. My career continues to move forward," he told Britain's Mirror.

"One day much to my fans' chagrin I won't be wrestling anymore but I'll playing rock 'n' roll in your town, or I'll be doing a podcast and you can hear me twice a week, or I'll be acting in some show or I'll be doing a spoken word performance. It's not like I'm just going to dry up and go away when I finish wrestling.

"Much of what I've been doing over the last few years is what I'm going to be doing for the next 20 years or 30 years, and less and less of that will be in-ring performing. Not that I couldn't still go out there now and kick ass and tear it up because that's what I do but when the time comes that I feel I couldn't do that anymore then I won't do it," he added

Jericho is currently on a speaking engagement tour.

Review of the book Plain Faith by Ora-Jay and Irene Eash

This book was about an Amish family who had a tragedy in their life when their two daughters died in a buggy accident. The Amish faith believe that when you die, you go to heaven so the family did have their own hope about the future. But the twist in the book was being Amish was too much for them to handle and they end up leaving to find their own faith. I know that at the age of teenagers like 16 or 18 Amish children are told to leave the faith and see if they want to live Amish or not called Rumschpringe. It helps people see if they really want to live Amish or not. They get to experience different things then if they had stayed with the Amish. If they decide to come back after leaving their parents welcome them home because it is a normal part of their culture. I believe learning experiences are great for deciding what you want to do with your life and lets you make your own decisions. Your parents can't always tell you what to do because you have to live life for yourself to see how you make it on your own and see how tough you are. Just like when my husband left the religion he grew up in and lived on his own for a while and then came back because he was more comfortable in the religion he always knew. Which was fine for me because I want to support him anyway I can.

Miley Cyrus Hospitalized For Severe Allergic Reaction

Miley Cyrus is in the hospital ... after a sudden and apparently severe allergic reaction to medicine.

Miley was in Kansas City for a concert Tuesday night on her Bangerz tour. It appears Miley was at the arena -- the Sprint Center -- when she fell ill. We're told she had a bad reaction to antibiotics.

Doctors ordered her on bed rest immediately.

Here's what's interesting ... A TMZ employee happens to be in Kansas City and just texted us an hour ago telling us Miley was out shopping with her mom ... so it seems whatever reaction she had was sudden.

The concert has been cancelled. She also cancelled her concert last Monday in Charlotte due to the flu.

Paradise Exteriors is a great company!

I was looking for new impact windows. I really wanted a well established company that knew about the different types of impact windows. I had several companies come out. Paradise Exteriors was by far the most informative and knowledgable window company that came. My salesman was so patient and explained the process from beginning to end. Within a month I had beautiful brand new Soft Lite windows. Paradise Exteriors’ secretary, Jalin is super nice and helped me get everything I needed for HOA approval. Dan Beckner, the owner came out himself and made sure I was happy with my windows. Eric Beckner installed the job and did a perfect job. I can’t believe that they got it all done in one day. I am proud to say I am part of the Paradise family!!!

Review of the book Below The Surface by Tim Shoemaker

I really didn't like this book, I guess I had my expectations to high. I had trouble getting past half the book and it really took all I had to finish this book so I could write my review.

This book was about 4 friends who during a summer break witnessed a murder. They saw this couple fighting and how the woman got thrown off the boat and died and how the man tried to cover up the entire time. All in all it was just an ok book and not worth recommending to my friends. Normally I like murder mysteries but this one could get my attention. I guess because I could not get into the story line. I guess I couldn't get into the four characters. I don't even really remember who they are and much about the book. I really don't know what to write for this review because I don't really remember much about the book. I wonder if it was really just this book or I would I like other books by this author. 250 words right now is really hard for me to write about because I am just not into like the other books that I have read. I normally tell my friends and family about books but this one I did not because I didn't think they would like it either. I really wish I could remember more about the book but I am struggling right now with what to say or write down.

Mila Kunis Pregnant, Expecting First Child With Fiance Ashton Kutcher

Mila's going to be a mommy! Mila Kunis is expecting her first child with fiance Ashton Kutcher, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.

"This is something they both wanted," one insider tells Us. "They are both so happy."

Kunis' pregnancy news comes just one month after the Jupiter Ascending actress was seen wearing a large diamond engagement ring on that finger, while shopping with her mom on Feb. 27. The former That '70s Show costars and longtime friends first went public with their relationship in spring 2011.

Another source says Kutcher is "very happy" with the news of his fiancee's pregnancy, although he still remains resolutely private about his personal life. "Ashton has been very private and cut off more than he usually is," the insider tells Us. But, the Two and a Half Men star has been chatting with a longtime pal who is newly-familiar with fatherhood.

"He has been talking about kids with Danny Masterson," the source reveals. (As previously reported by Us, That '70s Show alum Masterson secretly welcomed a baby girl with his wife Bijou Phillips on Feb. 14.)

Kutcher, who was once married to Demi Moore, finalized his divorce from the Margin Call star last November. He shares no children with Moore, although Kutcher did grow close to the 51-year-old star's three daughters during their marriage.

"I know they are planning on being as quiet about their life together as possible," the insider adds of Kutcher and Kunis.

(E! also reported the news of her pregnancy on Sunday.)

Review of the book Distortion by Terri Blackstock

This book was awesome! I could not put it down! This book is about how this woman named Juliet saw her husband get murdered and has to figure out who did it and why was her husband dead. Turns out he was involved in drug trafficking and also had a secret family with another woman and a baby! The drug traffickers used the kids to get the family to talk but it ended up working all out in the end! The other wife got arrested for being involved in the whole drug trafficking stuff. Wow this review is really short so I need to make it longer to meet the requirements. I find stuff about drug trafficking pretty interesting. I watch shows on it all the time. I like seeing how people get sucked into having to take drugs and what it does to their life. Many people become addicted to drugs and it messes up their entire life. And some people end up having bad reactions to the drugs such as death and other problems. In this movie I watched about someone getting addicted to heroin, they ended up getting sick, like throwing up unless they had more of the drug in their system. They ended up spending all of their hard earned money to getting drugs and freaking out when they ran out of money and couldn't get the drugs. One girl in the movie I saw actually used needles to get the drugs because it takes less of the drugs to get into the blood stream. She ended up dying because she took to many drugs.

Review of the book Storming The Black Ice by Don Brown

This book was not what I had expected but still a good book nonetheless. It was about navy seals who had huge submarines who all called war on each other and tried to take out each others submarines all over gold under the ground that was covered by snow hence the the tile of the book. Turns out everyone makes it out okay in the end and the war is called off. I enjoy watching movies about this as well. I recently watched a movie called submarine where they had to fire off missiles to save the world from aliens. And they needed the help of the entire navy and other marines to do this. And they found out about the aliens from the tracking machines they had on the boat, that tracked the aliens location by gps so they could follow the aliens and see when they would attack next. The aliens did indeed kill people but the navy didn't get discouraged. They kept on fighting and won. I like alot of navy movies including one with Kelsey Grammer the actor. I enjoy watching movies with soliders like the most recent movie American Sniper with Bradley Cooper, he played a great solider dealing with ptsd after killing people in the war in Iraq and how he couldn't cope being home with his wife and his baby. He kept losing his mind and having flashbacks. Ptsd is something I deal with as well after being raped when I was a kid and I struggle with this today.

Review of the book Rich in Years by Johann Christoph Arnold

I really enjoyed reading this book! This book was about an older person who was sharing stories of his friends and their lives and how much more life is when you are older and can share your past experiences with you friends or younger ones. I enjoyed the quote on page 89 which says " Jesus fought every evil and loved everyone, without reservation; with compassion, but with incredible straightforwardness. Not that I could ever do that. But that's how I've wanted to live my life- with that kind of love." I also like the quote on page 97 which reads " In Jesus' eyes, it's the every act of commitment, not the length of the commitment, that matters. Wether we begin to serve and love early or late in life, there are always opportunities to do so, no matter how sick or weak we are. All in all a really good book that I would recommend to my friend.

Review of the book Riley Mae and the Rock Shocker Trek by Jill Osborne

I really enjoyed this book, I will be giving it to my friend when I am done reading it, she is 10 and enjoys reading and is a tomboy!

This book is about a girl named Riley Mae who is a fan of softball and a company asks her to be the spokesman for their shoes. They end up putting her on a TV commercial, selling shoes everywhere, etc. She did everything for that company! The scariest photo-shoot she ever did was Yosemite to show that you can wear these shoes anywhere, and her photographer ends up getting hurt and has to be helicopter lifted to the hospital where later he ends up being ok! Alot of other stuff went into the book but I really enjoyed it and read it in 2 days!. I like this book because it showed how strong a girl can be and a good role model for a company. We need more role models like that. Such as how on my show Rozzoli and Isles, the main cop is a woman and she is strong and awesome. I look up to her because she doesn't get scared and always gets the job completed and done. We need more powerful women role models because more people prefer to see men do the hard stuff and women are seen as scared, hopeless people who need tough men to save them which I disagree with. Woman can do what men can do and more. We need to stand up for ourselves.

Review of the book Smitten Book Club by Colleen Coble, Kristin Billerbeck, Diann Hunt, Denise Hunter

This book was very good to read! I was super excited to read it and dive in! It took me long to read then usual because life got busy and this is a big book to read! I thought it was one giant book but it was 4 small books into one and they all intertwine together!

The first book was about a woman named Heather who was helping her friend Molly out because her husband had died last year and was on her own with a failing business and Heather had smarts to help out with that. Heather ends up falling in love with her ex boyfriend and they end up getting back together after she divorced her current husband and now her and her boyfriend end up getting engaged to help take care of her son that she had previously!

The second book was about a girl named Abbey and she was a pretty boring person who never did anything adventurous and then she lost her dad and now takes care of her mom and works at the local library! Well turns out her one friend that she was in love with named Wyatt was close with her dad before he died, and Wyatt had a letter from her dad and it said that he wanted Wyatt to take care of her because he was the right guy for her! They end up falling in love and being happy and Abbey learns to be more adventurous!

The third story was about a woman named Elliana who before she had grown up and made a life for herself had fallen in love with a guy named Joey. Well one day she hurt her tooth and found herself being taken care of by a guy named Joey, it was the one she had fallen in love with from before! Turns out Joey is still in love with her but life is complicated because his wife died a year ago from a random shooting at the mall and left behind a daughter named Grace who was so traumatized by the shooting that she stopped talking and only talked in sign language to stay close to her mom who was deaf and wanted to keep her mom in memory forever! They end up falling in love and get married!

The fourth story is about Molly who I mentioned earlier! She needs help keeping her business afloat and in the process falls in love with this guy who helps her keep her business alive.

All in all the book was pretty predictable but I enjoyed reading it!

Hidden Falls‏ by Olivia Newport

This one book company I read books for and post my reviews has asked me to review a book called Hidden Falls by Olivia Newport and share the first chapter of this book for free to my readers. If you are interested in reading this book, you can download it for free

On Amazon :

http://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Falls-Ordinary-Secrets-Episode-ebook/dp/B00H4MTGV6/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1389036959&sr=1-1&keywords=hidden+falls

My review so far is hard because I downloaded the free chapter but it omitted some pages from that for some reason.

This book is about teacher named Quinn and his lady Sylvia. His students are honoring him with a gala party for helping students graduate when some were not going to without his help especially his one student Ethan and his ex-girlfriend Nicole. Lauren's aunt is Sylvia. That's all I can figure out right now!

Big thanks to the book company Handlebar to be able to take place in this!

Tori Spelling's Husband, Dean McDermott, Is in Rehab

Tori Spelling's husband, Dean McDermott, who's been the subject of cheating rumors since the holidays, has entered rehab.

"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," he tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."

Sources tell PEOPLE that McDermott, 47, is receiving intense treatment but is allowed to leave to visit his and Spelling's four children – Liam, 6½, Stella, 5½, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 15 months – at their house. "Their priority right now is their children," a source says.

Earlier this month, a friend of Spelling's told PEOPLE that the actress, author and reality star, 40, was "devastated" and "much more heartbroken than anyone realized" about the situation with McDermott.

Hilary Duff Splits From Husband Mike Comrie After Three Years: "They Remain Best Friends"

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are going their separate ways after three years of marriage. The 26-year-old singer-actress has split from her former NHL player husband, 33, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. Click here for more recent pictures of Duff.

"Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation. They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives," the rep says of the couple, parents to son Luca, 21 months. "They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

Married since August 2010, the couple seemed happy as recently as late December, when they took Luca to Disneyland for the first time. Duff posted about the outing on Twitter, sharing a photo of herself with both her son and her husband. She also tweeted a picture of them all dressed up for a New Year's Eve party.

Last May, the Lizzie McGuire alum gushed to Us that Comrie was "amazing" and had really stepped up as a dad. "If I want to run out of the house for an hour to go work out or go meet a friend for lunch, I can," she said. "I think that's really important."

She even hinted to Us that they were thinking about having more children. "We don't really have any plans right now, but I think we'd be happy if it happened and maybe a bit overwhelmed," she said.

"I'm enjoying [Luca] so much, and now that he's a year, I'm finally getting to have a life again. He'll go down at 7 and then we can go out for dinner or go do something fun and he doesn't even know we're gone," she continued. "I think with two kids that would be a little harder. But we also want to do right by him and give him a sibling not too far apart so they have a lot in common and can be really close."

Duff and Comrie met at an Idaho resort and dated for more than two years before getting engaged in 2010. According to a Page Six report from that year, they signed a prenup prior to walking down the aisle. (Comrie's dad is the founder of a Canadian appliance and furniture empire.)

After news broke of their split on Friday, Jan. 10, the singer took to Twitter to thank fans for their support. "Mike and I are sitting here, we are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes," she wrote. "Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together."

Review of the book Ingredients For Success by Joseph James Slawek

This book was a nice read for me, Read it in about a day! This book talked about ways to learn how to make your business successful.

I like the ten practices he talks about in the introduction. The then practices are boldly, yet compassionately, tell the truth. Plan ahead but be ready for surprises. Know, develop, and use your unique abilities. Use your talents responsibility or you'll lose them. Be ready for the accounting. Invest your talents faithfully for maximum return. Aim for excellence, not perfection. Be strong and courageous. Redistribute unused talents and resources. Express gratitude to GOD and others.

I also like the quote on page 53 which says "some day, there will be a final accounting for all of us. We would stand before God in order to give accounting for our souls."

The last thing I liked in the book was a scripture he shared from Psalm 46: 1-2 which reads " GOD is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Be still, and know that I am GOD!"

All in all a really good book that I would recommend to my friends.

A great find from Facebook
