Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is ready to pop!
“I’m permanently on-call right now,” her husband, Pete Wentz, said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Thursday.
“She is at the very end, and it could happen at any point now,” added Wentz, who announced the pregnancy in May shortly after they’d wed.
Wentz, 29, says his wife, 24, is “excited, she’s anxious…I think she wants it to be over. She just wants to not be pregnant any more. She wants to have it because it’s, like, a struggle to go up and down the stairs…going out in public’s insane.
“She’s hot all the time,” added Wentz. “She’s like ‘I wish I was in Canada right now.’ Our room temperature is set to, like, 34 degrees. It’s insane!”
Wentz admits they haven’t yet come up with a name for the baby. (He’s also denied it was a boy after slipping up and calling it a “he” earlier.)
“I want to meet them first,” he said. “My brother was almost a Duncan, and he’s Andrew now. I think it might have ruined his life more if he was a Duncan.”
His goal?
To make sure the baby’s name would work as either “a rock star or a senator,” he said.

Pink: ‘Mayer only sleeps with stupid women’
Pink has claimed that John Mayer once told her he only beds women lacking intelligence.
The ‘So What’ singer is alleged to have named the rock star her most hated celebrity after the pair clashed at a party, reports The Sun.
Pink explained: “I got into an argument with him. I don’t believe him as much as he believes him. He said something along the lines of, ‘I only shag really stupid women.’ And I said, ‘I guess they would have to be.’ I don’t get him at all.”
Mayer split with Jennifer Aniston in August, though it is thought that the couple are back together after rumours emerged claiming that Aniston is pregnant with the musician’s child.

Larry Birkhead wants another baby.
The decision to move out of Anna Nicole Smith’s house isn’t the only major news Larry Birkhead recently shared with Life & Style: He might make 2-year-old Dannielynn a big sister, too! “I want to have another child,” Larry said during an exclusive interview on Oct. 16. “It would be tough for me to do right now, but in a couple of years, definitely.”
Ideally, Larry says, he would love to meet his Ms. Right — he says his type is a Jennifer Love Hewitt look-alike — and conceive a baby naturally. But if that doesn’t happen, he’d consider alternatives. “Right now I’m so busy taking care of Dannielynn, I don’t have time to get out there and date,” he says. “So while I’d love to have another baby of my own, I’d be happy to adopt a little brother or sister for her.”

Paris Hilton insists she’s not too skinny.
Paris Hilton has always been slim, but recent photos have led some bloggers to call her “scary skinny,” sparking speculation of an eating disorder.
Now, the heiress is speaking out against her critics, telling In Touch that she’s actually in the best shape of her life. “I am healthier than ever,” the self-confessed former junk food addict says, adding that she adopted better habits after moving to London last month to film her new TV show, Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend. “I’ve been eating so healthily since I’ve been here. No sodas and no fast food like I usually do in LA.”
The heiress also attributes her toned body to Pilates. “I’ve really gotten into it since I’ve been here and I love it!” And it actually helps that Paris, 27, has such a busy schedule. “She’s been working too hard on her show to party,” one pal reveals. “She only drinks water when she’s out.”
Boyfriend Benji Madden has been a big support. “One thing that has kept Paris going amidst all the work in England has been Benji’s weekend visits,” the friend says. The Good Charlotte rocker definitely enjoys taking care of her. “She is not only my girlfriend, but my best friend,” he says. “I am in love with the most beautiful woman on the planet.”
“I have been working every day with no days off, but I’m having a great time,” Paris says. “I couldn’t be happier. She is my dream come true in every way,” Benji, 29, tells In Touch.

Gwen Stefani Shows Off Another Photo of Zuma
Gwen Stefani has officially introduced the world to her newborn son Zuma.
On Wednesday, she posted an adorable portrait of her and her 2-month-old on her Web site.
“We wanted to share with you the first photo of Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale,” she writes. “Gwen, Gavin, Kingston and Zuma are all doing well and enjoying being a party of four.”
On Wednesday, Stefani gave photographers a glimpse of Zuma as the two visited a library in Beverly Hills.
“He’s amazing, he’s very sweet,” pop Gavin Rossdale told Usmagazine.com of their newborn at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood bash last week.
Stefani and Rossdale - who recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary - welcomed the baby this past August.
Their son Kingston is 2.

Tori Spelling: “I’m struggling to lose the baby weight!”
It can be tough for new moms to lose weight after having a baby, but when Tori Spelling gave birth to daughter Stella on June 9, she had the added pressure of having to watch fellow celebrities snap right back into shape. “I would look at pictures of myself and compare them to Jessica Alba, who had her baby two days before me,” Tori, 35, tells In Touch. “I’d see photos of her two months after and go, ‘Look at her!’ ”
But rather than give up, Tori says she developed a healthier attitude, passing on fad diets and hot Hollywood trainers and enlisting the help of her husband of two-and-a-half years, Dean McDermott, their 19-month-old son, Liam, and Stella.
Together, they cook healthy meals and stay as active as possible. “The best way to lose weight is to make it a family affair,” she explains. “It has changed my life.”
“I’m embracing the fact that it’s a struggle for me to drop the pounds,” Tori reveals. “It’s easier now because I’m not as focused on it.”
Her advice to other moms trying to lose weight? “Take your time,” says Tori, with Stella. “If you get obsessed, you’ll miss out on great moments with your children.”

Tori & Dean to sell their dream houme, make room for another baby?
The housing crisis isn’t stopping Tori Spelling, 35, and Dean McDermott, 41, from moving on. “We’re about to put the house on the market,” Dean says of the five-bedroom, 3,300-square-foot LA mansion they bought for $2,275,000 earlier this year and are now selling for $2,395,000. “My son Jack is moving back to LA, so we’re short on room.” They’ll also need the extra space for an important addition. “Tori wants another baby,” an insider tells Life & Style. “They’re actively trying!”

Yet moving on has been difficult, especially because Reid has to live with the evidence of the past – the scars on her stomach from a 2004 liposuction surgery and subsequent reconstructive surgery in 2006. “They are my battle wounds,” she says of her “uneven” abs.
Producing independent films like 7-10 Split and working on her first clothing line, Mantra, keeps her busy. The line of bikinis, t-shirts, and casual wear is inspired by her moods.
“Red is for love, green for luck, white for peace – everything gives you a mantra of the day,” says Reid, who is currently dating business partner Julien Jarmoune. “I made this line about feeling good about yourself.”

When it comes to spoiling his little princess, the sky’s the limit for Tom Cruise.
Star has learned the actor is building a state-of-the-art gymnastics room for Suri in their East Village apartment in Manhattan.
“Because Suri loved her private gymnastics class at Chelsea Piers in New York so much, Tom hired the facility to build Suri private gymnasium,” an insider says. “[It] will have $7,000 worth of equipment, including two mini trampolines, a balance beam, tumbling mats and a set of bars.”
And the buck doesn’t stop there. Tom has even hired a female instructor from the facility to come over each week and give Suri a one-hour lesson that he plans to oversee.
“While Tom loves coming to Chelsea Piers it became a huge production for Suri to have a lesson,” the insider said. “Before daddy and daughter arrive, the staff have to quickly tape up the windows to the private gym for privacy. Now with a gym to call her very own, Tom doesn’t have to worry about all of that since Suri won’t have to leave her apartment building.”

Britney Agrees to Permanent Conservatorship
Britney Spears may be comebacking like a madwoman, but the court thinks she can still use some guidance on that road to redemption.
The popster's conservatorship arrangement with father Jamie Spears was made permanent today, with no objection coming from the 26-year-old "Womanizer" warbler. If the terms of the deal remain the same, her dad will continue to oversee her estate, finances, legal affairs and medical care along with attorney Andrew Wallet.
"The court finds the proposed permanent conservatorship is necessary and appropriate," said Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who has been presiding over the Spears saga for the past year, at a Tuesday status hearing.
And while Britney was no fan of the arrangement back when it was imposed Feb. 1, her attorney informed the court today that his client had requested he not argue with Goetz's ruling.
Besides, it's not as if permanent means forever.
"The permanent conservatorship doesn't have a set date to expire," court public information spokeswoman Vania Stuelp tells E! News.
"In order to make it go away, someone has to petition the court. It was supposed to expire on Dec. 31. It's not anymore."
In the meantime, an evaluation detailing Spears' psychological fortitude has been completed and will remain sealed, Goetz said. Another status hearing has been set for Dec. 22.
But while this may all be as-expected news for Britney's camp, it doesn't bode well for the lawsuit against her filed by former manager Johnny Wright.
Saying that Spears' "capacity issue remains open and has not been resolved one way or another," Goetz ruled earlier today that Wright's attorneys are not allowed to depose Spears, whom he says owes thousands in unpaid commissions, until the conservatorship ends.
"We think it's reasonable," Wright's lawyer, Clay Townsend, who had been hoping to have Brit sit for a deposition Nov. 17, tells E! News. "Being on the cover of OK magazine, signing a big contract with AEG to go on a world tour, going on Good Morning America—gosh, it seems fairly reasonable to try to do a deposition in late November. It's not like she is in the hospital and we are dying to go down and take her deposition."
Instead, they will have to speak with ruler-of-the-roost Jamie Spears next month.
"She seemed to be doing so well, that we thought it was not unreasonable," Townsend added. "My client Johnny Wright still has great affection for Britney. He worked with Britney for a long time in the early days. So that last thing that we would want to do was to harass her."
Goetz said that she will revisit the deposition issue Feb. 2.

She said: “I’m very scared to do it. What if I don’t come back? With the whole light years thing, what if I come back 10,000 years later, and everyone I know is dead? I’ll be like, ‘Great. Now I have to start all over.’”
An estimated 157 people have signed up to take the flight, paying a deposit of US$200,000 for their seat.

Brian Austin Green going back to court today
Brian Austin Green is in court right now over custody of his 6-year-old son Kassius.
Green is there along with baby mama Vanessa Marcil. As we reported, Marcil wanted the hearing after complaining about details of their custody arrangement.
No Megan Fox sightings today. Fox was there to support Green when they were in court earlier this month.
The hearing is being held behind closed doors.
