Review of the book Abolishing Abortion by Rev. Frank Pavone

I thought this book I was reading about abortion was quite long and uninteresting. I thought it would be better than this. I did enjoy some quote in this book. I liked the quote in the introduction that quoted Mother Teresa which read " I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?" I like another quote by mother Teresa which reads " Many people are very, very concerned with the children in India, with the children in Africa where quite a number die, maybe of malnutrition, of hunger and so on, but millions are dying deliberately by the will of the mother. And this is what is the greatest destroyer of peace today. Because if a mother can kill her own child-what is left for me to kill you and you kill me- there is nothing between. Another quote I like is " If I speak up too loudly about the victims of abortion, what will happen to me. Will I face persecution? Will I encounter opposition? Will I lose popularity if I get involved in a case like this?"Another quote I like is " Because the gospel covers every aspect of human activity, the church must be free to comment on political matters-particularly when human rights are on the line. It would be the gravest irresponsibility not to."
