Mariah Gives Birth To A Boy And A Girl

Mariah Carey's rep Cindi Berger confirmed that dem babies were born on Saturday at 12:07 p.m. EDT at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.

Mariah's little princess was born first, weighting 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long. Her tiny prince will clearly be the baby of the family as he was born soon after, at 5 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.

Berger says that Mariah and Nick have not named the children, but knowing MiMi, we're sure they're going to have the most adorable names ever.

Berger gave us some details about how it all went down:

She says that Nick drove Mariah in their Rolls Royce Phantom, assuming it was another false alarm. Turns out, it was the real thing, which made Nick so nervous, he went to the wrong department at the hospital and had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse.

Berger says, "It was like right out of an I Love Lucy skit."

And to make things soooo much cuter, Berger says that Nick and Mariah were listening to We Belong Together after the children were born.

Did we mention that the twins were born the same day as Mariah and Nick's anniverary??

Mike Tyson's Face Tattoo Artist Sues 'Hangover'

If you've seen the previews for "Hangover 2" -- you already know Ed Helms wakes up with a Mike Tyson face tattoo ... but now, the guy who did Tyson's ink is PISSED at producers, claiming they ripped off his work without permission.

The guy who applied Tyson's face tattoo back in 2003 is S. Victor Whitmill -- who claims he not only created the design, but copyrighted it as well.

In fact, Whitmill says he's never allowed ANYONE to use the image since he put it on Tyson.

Now, Whitmill has filed a lawsuit in federal court in St. Louis, claiming Warner Bros. -- the studio behind the movie -- violated his copyright ... and he wants to block the studio from showing the tattoo in the film.

Whitmill is also demanding an unspecified amount of cash.

Review of The Book That Made Your World by Vishal Mangalwadi

**This review might offend some people. If you get offended after reading this then please do not leave a rude comment. I will simply ban you and delete your comment. Thanks**

This book was really good and worth taking the time to read. It may be long, about 400 pages but I enjoyed it very much. This book was about the history of religion and how it came to the force it is today. It talked about Hinduism, Buddhism and the bible. I found the history of the bible the most interesting and skipped over the rest of the religions. To me personally the bible has a big impact on my life and how I live my life so I liked alot of what the author had to say about the bible and how it impacted his life.

The author mentions on page 22 that one of the problems people have with the bible is that they feel it is irrelevant to today. That is far from the case. If only people would actually live how the bible tells us today then they would have a happier life. GOD gives us commandments to follow because they protect us from harm and it helps us be safe. I also like what the author says on page 30 how GOD is our shield and protects us when we put him first in our lives. The bible says "Put on all the armour which God provides, so that you may be able to stand firm against the devices of the devil.”—EPHESIANS 6:11"."We stand firm against Satan by being motivated to serve Jehovah and to lead clean lives that will prevent our becoming a morally contaminating influence among Jehovah’s people. With accurate knowledge of God’s Word, we can puncture and cut down false teachings, exposing their lack of logic and, in particular, their conflict with the Holy Scriptures. We do this not out of pride but out of humility and love for God, truth and our fellowman."

On page 33,34 I also agree with what the author says. On page 33 he mentions how we must honor our civil authorities. The author says"The bible says that we must honor and obey civil authorities." On page 34 talks about how the Gov't today cannot save us. Only the Gov't of God can save us. To quote the author" We knew our freedoms were from GOD, not the Gov't's generosity.""Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.”(So, any programs for betterment that rulers institute soon pass into the hands of others and are frequently abandoned.)"No matter who the ruler is, he will still be part of this world that lies in Satan’s power. “The God of heaven will set up a kingdom [a government] that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.”: “He [Jehovah’s appointed king, Jesus Christ] will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, and the souls of the poor ones he will save. From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul, and their blood will be precious in his eyes.” (His concern for such people when he was on earth—his healing them, feeding multitudes, even laying down his life for them—shows that he will truly be the kind of ruler foretold in the prophecy.)Government by God is the only real solution to the problems of mankind."

On page 68 the author agrees that GOD created the earth and everything. On page 79 some people the author says do not know the meaning of prayer. The author says "While some Christians do use the names of Jesus or Mary as mantras, according to the bible, prayer is a rational conversation with God. Talking to GOD is possible only if the Creator is a person. Because the Buddha denied the existence of GOD, his followers developed spiritual rituals that involved mindless, mechanical prayer." The only way to truly have a relationship with Jehovah GOD is to pray to him in the name of son's Jesus' name.

Some people might find the history of how the horseshoe was made on page 102 and history of how the crusades started on page 120. On page 151 it mentions how the word congregation and assembly was started which I find very interesting.

I like what the author says on page 182. He says" God implies that we are to walk with Him, not follow the traditions and counsel of rebellious men. To make a difference one must life differently." I agree with this statement. People who claim to be Christian need to be different from the world. People should be able to see a different on a Christian acts, dresses, talks etc. Also on page 207 the author says what the bible clearly states that the meek will one day inherit the earth. And on page 280 the author agrees with the bible that the only reason to get a divorce is because of adultery and not any other reason.

On page 291 the author talks about how baptism is different when you are an adult then when you get baptized as a child. When you are a child, you have no say in the matter. Once you become to get to know GOD as an adult, you get baptized to cleanse yourself to make a dedication to Jehovah. The author says "Biblical Christians- who encouraged, even required, children to take personal responsibility for their spiritual lives-shaped the social ethos of America. Each person had to find GOD and live in a personal relationship with him.Knowing GOD as one's heavenly father changed the nature of family relationships on earth." The last good point in on page 381 which is the history of why we swear on the bible in court.

Overall I like the history of the bible, the authors opinions on the bible. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy learning about history and the truth about the bible and what is really states.

Notes: When I was quoting the author, I used his statements in quotes and said I was quoting the author. There are some other quotes in there as well and those are from my Watchtower CD Rom that I use as one of Jehovah's witnesses.

Review of COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Lip Gloss

I got this from bzzagent.com to try this product and was surprised by it. My mom in law tried and it liked it. We thought the color would be bright but when we put it on her lips there was no color. It made her lips shiny and glossy and it was really pretty on her. I would recommend this product to people.

Review of Max On Life by Max Lucado

**This review might offend some people. If you get offended after reading this then please do not leave a rude comment. I will simply ban you and delete your comment. Thanks**

I was very disappointed in this book and would not recommend it to anyone at all. I might throw this book in the trash after I write this review. This book was just horrible and not worth it to read.

The biggest thing that annoys me is that people believe that they will go to heaven when they die. Not True!!!!! The bible clearly states that when you die you are conscious of nothing, like you are sleeping.Which can be found in the bible in ecclesiastics. In ecclesiastics it says in chapter 9, verse 5: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” Yes the bible states that some people go to heaven but not everyone or good people as people claim. Only the 144,000 annoioted spirit creatures are giong to live in Heaven and be part of Jesus' kindgom and work along side him. The rest of us are giong to be on a paradise earth, becaue Jehovah will redo the earth and make it a paradise for us to live on where we can be with the animals and see our dead loved ones again. Ps. 37:9, 11, 29: “Evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth . . . The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” Rev. 14:1-3: “I saw, and, look! the Lamb [Jesus Christ] standing upon the Mount Zion [in heaven; see Hebrews 12:22-24], and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. . . . And they are singing as if a new song . . . and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth.” What will those who go to heaven do there?Rev. 20:6: “They will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Also Daniel 7:27)

I am also annoyed that people think Jesus died on a cross which is not true. He died on a stake. This came from my Watchtower cd rom on my computer: The Greek word rendered “cross” in many modern Bible versions (“torture stake” in NW) is stau·ros′. In classical Greek, this word meant merely an upright stake, or pale. This also came from my cd rom: “The shape of the [two-beamed cross] had its origin in ancient Chaldea, and was used as the symbol of the god Tammuz (being in the shape of the mystic Tau, the initial of his name) in that country and in adjacent lands, including Egypt. By the middle of the 3rd cent. A.D. the churches had either departed from, or had travestied, certain doctrines of the Christian faith. In order to increase the prestige of the apostate ecclesiastical system pagans were received into the churches apart from regeneration by faith, and were permitted largely to retain their pagan signs and symbols. Hence the Tau or T, in its most frequent form, with the cross-piece lowered, was adopted to stand for the cross of Christ.”—An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words (London, 1962), W. E. Vine, p. 256.

Another thing this book gets wrong is that GOD has a will for us. Simply not true. We live our life the best we can and sometimes bad things happen. That's because the bible mentions how unforeseen occurrences can happen.Sometimes we may have hardships but sometimes it is because we are not living our life they way we should and so its our own fault. In the chapter Galatians in the bible it talks about we reap what we sow. Gal. 6:7: “Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap.”

A fourth thing this book gets wrong is that this author believes that baptism is not required for salvation and that this the furthest things from the truth. When you are ready to serve Jehovah you must make a dedication to him. Those who believe the bible is truth want to get baptized so we can tell others about how wonderful Jehovah is. And to be baptized as an adult is by immersing yourself completely in water so you can be made clean. So baptism is a big part of getting to know and love Jehovah and if you truly love him you will get baptized and preach about him until the end of the days get here. Baptism is a step to show that you love Jehovah and want to tell others about him. It is a thing a mature christian does to show their love for Jehovah and to preach about him.

My two last points I hated about this book is the stance on gay marriage the author has and how he believed people go to hell. Gay marriage is not ok. The bible clearly states the being gay is wrong and that marriage should be between a woman and a man and not between 2 women or two men. Homosexual acts, heterosexual sex between unmarried persons, and bestiality are all condemned in the Bible. (Exodus 22:19; Ephesians 5:3-5) God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of such sexual practices.—Genesis 13:13; 18:20; 19:4, 5, 24, 25. And there is no hell. Once you die you are sleeping such as the scripture above showed. People want to show God as someone who is mean and not loving and wants to punish us for our sins but GOD is a loving GOD who would not do that. The bible says that once you die you have paid your wages. Then once you have died, you are acquitted for your sins. So there would be no reason to punish someone after they die.

Anyway I did not like this book because it had a lot of misconceptions in it and when you have a book that is made for millions of people to read you are also misleading them and that is not right. People want to know the truth of what the bible really teaches and a book to read about that is what the bible really teaches published by Jehovah's witnesses and will tell you the real truth about what the bible really is about and not what people want to hear from churches to get their ears tickled or whatever that phrase it. After today I am throwing this book out and will not be telling anyone about it or recommending it at all. Simply disgusting really.

Review of How To Be God's Little Princess by Sheila Walsh

**This review might offend some people. If you get offended after reading this then please do not leave a rude comment. I will simply ban you and delete your comment. Thanks**

This book was very delightful and kids will love this book. I am going to give to my niece.

This book has tips in it for manners, etiquette and true beauty and I like a lot of the tips in the book. The first tip I liked was how to dress modestly. I have noticed that when it comes time to show reverence to Jehovah GOD at our Kingdom Hall that people dress immodestly. They wear short skirts that show a lot of skin, they wear shirts that show off cleavage and so on. Its horrible because not only is that not appropriate to wear in a nice setting but other people are seeing things on you that they shouldn't and could be tempted to do something that they normally wouldn't do. And when way to know if you should wear something is to ask a person who is close to you if they think what you are wearing is appropriate or not.

Another topic they discuses in the book is about friendship. And they mention a question to ask yourself, "Are you a Christian, Be sure others can tell by the way you talk, dress and act. If we are a true Christian then we need to act like it all the time, just not when people are around watching us. Its how we act when we are along that matters. And GOD still sees everything we are doing and he can tell how we are by our heart condition.

The third tip or topic they talk about is media and the dangers of it which needs to be talked about because other people skirt around the issue and needs to be talked about. Some people may end up spending so much time on the internet or websites that they miss out on real life opportunities and could be hurting themselves spiritually. And another good tip the book brings out is that you represent GOD no matter where you are talking to people. And that you would want to keep your talk pure to represent that you are a clean Christian. And also try not to give out too much personal information on yourself out there because people can find out too much about you and try to hurt you in someway. And the biggest tip of all is don't write or post anything or any picture you wouldn't want the whole world-including GOD-to see. Because sooner or later, the whole world will see it.

All in all , I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a good book and get some helpful hints/tips as well throughout the book. This book is encouraging and both adults and children would enjoy reading it.

Review of The Final Summit by Andy Andrews

**This review might offend some people. If you get offended after reading this then please do not leave a rude comment. I will simply ban you and delete your comment. Thanks**

I really enjoyed this book. It was quite fascinating to me. I had no opinion on time travel when I read it but now I am into it. I also had trouble putting the book down, once I started reading it I didn't want to stop. I liked a few things about this book.

I liked how the characters in the book said that the story of the ark in the bible is real not just a story. That is correct. One way we know the story of the ark is true is because the Genesis account tells us the precise year, month and day when the deluge began, when and where the ark came to rest, and when the earth dried off. Details about the ark are precise-the layout, the measurements and the materials used to build it. Fables, by contrast, are usually vague in their descriptions. Also two genealogical accounts in the bible testify that Noah was a real person. The apostle Peter foretold that there would become "ridiculers" who would scoff at what the bible says.(**Note for this paragraph I got it from a Watchtower June 2008 called Why God Saved Noah and why should we care.)

I also liked the quote on page 36 of the book about many people to attempt to make their own truth and that's not the real truth. The book says this quote " For many years, you have progressively turned away from the real truth and in its stead have attempted to create your own version of a 'truth' that your intellect can comprehend. In so doing, you have become increasingly hungry for the attributes of destruction-an unquenchable thirst for riches, a disdain for your fellow man and power for its own sake."

I also liked the quote on page 87 that Joan of Arc said "That you breathe,"she answered. "For if you are breathing, then you are still alive. And if you are still alive, that means you haven't accomplished what you were placed on earth to do. If you haven't accomplished what you were put on earth to accomplish, this signifies that your life's very purpose has yet to be fulfilled. If your very purpose has to be fulfilled, that is proof that the most important part of your life remains ahead of you!" I can relate to this quote because we have a duty to witness to people the truth about the bible and until everyone has had a chance to learn about the truth of GOD and the bible then we will not stop preaching from door to door with literature for people to read and enjoy.

I also liked this final quote on page 107 of this book which reads "We believe that one of the reasons mankind has lost its way is our reliance to social norms and life's blueprint. People have stopped questioning what the end result might be of certain actions and habits. We now rely on cultural trends-even celebrity behavior-to act as the compass guiding the decisions and behavior in our own life." I agree with this statement. The bible clearly states what is appropriate in our life and what is not such as the stance on gay marriage which is clearly mentioned in 1 Tim. 1:9-11: “Law is promulgated, not for a righteous man, but for persons lawless and unruly, ungodly and sinners, . . . fornicators, men who lie with males, . . . and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching according to the glorious good news of the happy God.” So God clearly states that gay marriage is not ok and yet people believe it is and that the bible today is not practical. Yet the bible is always practical and will save us from hurting ourselves if we just follow the bibles counsel and GOD's word.

So all in all I really enjoyed this book and would recommended it to anyone.

Nicole Richie: 'I Am Not Pregnant'

Nicole Richie on Friday shot down pregnancy rumors fueled by new photos of her.

"Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant," she says in a statement. "This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity. To publicly point out a change in anyone's body is mean-spirited and cruel. People's bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues."

Richie, 29, is mom to daughter Harlow, 3, and 1 1/2-year-old son Sparrow

Review of Unsinkable by Abby Sunderland and Lynn Vincent

I really enjoyed this book. I don't really have interest in boating but after seeing this girl on the news and such I had to pick up the book and read about her life. This book is simply awesome. It takes you step by step into a young girls boat ride around the world and how she does it by herself.

I want to say that this book was not really a Christian book but a nice read anyway. I enjoyed reading about Abby Sunderland and her family. The book flowed nicely and I could not put it down. I was amazed at how amazing this girl was the whole time she out on her boat going around the world. She is so strong and brilliant and I could never be like her. She fixed all kind of problems by herself on the boat such as mechanical problems, being wet all the time and more.

And reading about her ordeal made me appreciate how much I am thankful for and how much we can do something if we put our mind to it. She did so much for her age and it shows throughout her ordeal on the boat.

I also want to say that based on this book, the media had it all wrong. Her family did not push her into doing this trip, she wanted to and did it all on her own. The media also said that she was inexperienced and would not make it. But she did and on her own too. Near the end she did have to call for help and be rescued but the whole rest of the trip she did it by herself with no helping her and was very experienced. I will be sharing this book with everyone I know.
