This weekend, Halle held an honorary chir at Jenesse Center's Silveer Rose Awards luncheon in LA. The event, which raises awareness for domestic violence, included a fashion show with designers like Donna Karan and Christian Louboutin. All the proceeds went to the cause; one we all know is close to Halle's heart. She recently denied rumors that she herself was a victim of domestic violence, but her mother was battered by her father. It's no wonder then that Halle does so much charity work for the cause.
