The new lineup for “The View”

Expect an announcement any day on the new lineup for “The View,” Barbara Walters’ estrogen-heavy chat-fest with Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. We’d heard that Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Griffin and Sherry Shepherd would all be hired and fill the empty seats left behind by Star Jones and Rosie O’Donnell on a rotating basis. But an insider denied there would be alternating hosts. A “View” spokesman says, “We love all three, but it’s too early to make any announcement.” Look for two of the three when the new season starts in September.
