Colin Farrell was confronted by a woman who leapt up from the audience as he was taping an episode of The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, according to a police spokesman.
No one was hurt during the incident, which happened on Thursday afternoon and was initially thought to be part of a skit for the show.
When it was dertemined that this was not part of the show, the woman was led out by Tonight Show security. A policeman on the scene advised the woman not to return or she'd be arrested for trespassing.
Access Hollywood has identified the woman as Dessarae Bradford. According to their sources, they say the woman had unsuccessfully alleged in a small-claims lawsuit that Farrell stalked her with inappropriate calls and text messages.
Access Hollywood, quoting an audience member, said the woman shouted at Farrell:
"I'll see you in court," to which Farrell replied, "You're insane."
Farrell was on the show to promote his upcoming film, Miami Vice {co-starring Jamie Foxx} and then appeared later in the evening at the film's world premiere.
At the after-party, he was flanked by security guards.
