Review of the book Stained Glass Hearts by Pasty Clairmont

This book was a good book to read. It was a book about this woman who is trying to be a good christian and look to the bright side on life when something bad happens.

I like that the author talks about having a good set of friends who will uplift you in times of need. I think when you are a spiritual person and have spiritual friends with the same beliefs that you do then you have someone who truly does care about you and becomes like your family and would be willing to do everything for you because they care about you. When I had to move out of my house a while back, my brothers and sisters from my congregation came over to help and really came through for us in a rough time we were going through. Our brothers and sisters in our congregation truly do love us and wants whats best for us and are our family and there is always someone to talk to when you need someone.

I also like the quote on prayer the author says on page 81 which says " Prayer gives us a resource for comfort, wisdom, strength, and unexplainable joy in the midst of the ravenous lions of life." Sometimes if we pray to GOD to help us and its his will and in the name of his son Jesus then he grants us our prayers and it all ends up working out in the long run. And GOD is always there to help us, no matter the time, day ,etc. There is never a busy signal, he is always there to help us.
