Hayden’s trip to Washington DC (January 27)

The ‘Save the Whales-Again’ campaign got a big boost of celebrity oomph this past weekend when Hayden Panettiere stepped up and lent her voice to the cause.

The Heroes babe showed up in Washington D.C. yesterday for a DuPont Circle rally against the resumption of commercial whaling.

And the crowd loved her. Hayden was greeted with an overwhelmingly positive response, winning the approval of the small but committed crowd.

But she’s not done yet… the 18-year-old hottie will be speaking with representatives from Japan, Iceland, and Norway later today to challenge their archaic fishing practices. A woman’s work is never done!
