Avril Lavigne’s Miami Beach Getaway

While on break from her hectic life of touring and recording, punk rocker Avril Lavigne felt the urge to fly out for a little time at the beach with husband Deryck Whibley and a few close friends.

The When You’re Gone singer was spotted out earlier today. walking the sandy shoreline and frolicking in the pool with a gal pal at their Miami Beach resort.

Meanwhile, for all of you Avril fans, there’s a behind-the-scenes special that premieres tonight on MTV (surely to be rerun at numerous later dates).

According to reports, “Cameras followed Lavigne on a whirlwind trip to Mexico for an awards ceremony and a short series of concerts last October. There are a couple of cute scenes with Avril and her mom, who made the trip to Mexico, too.”
