Review of the book Putting It Together Again When It's All Fallen Apart

I really enjoyed this book. I read it in 2 days. This book is about putting your life back together when everything is falling apart using common sense and bible scriptures to encourage you. I liked the quote on page one of the foreword which says " It's far more difficult to rebuild something damaged than to build something new right out of the box, with all the pieces numbered and sorted by bags."  I liked the quote on page 57 which says " What gives a person the energy to keep going when they want to give up? It's one thing to want to rebuild; it's quite another to get involved in the work of rebuilding every day of your life. That takes daily energy."

On page 91 it talks about encouraging us to pray to God when we are feeling down to relieve our pressure. It says " Lord, I don't want to live discouraged. So I ask for your encouragement right now. I pray that you'd show me a place to serve. Lord, give me the heart to look to you, to remember you, and to worship you. You are a great and awesome God. You are a God who loves me and a God who will encourage me in anything and everything. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

I liked the quote on page 139 which says " When leaders make God's Word clear, the celebration of God is magnified. One of the most celebrative moments in worship is when a simple explanation of God's truth makes the light go on in our hearts.  When we understand it, then we're able to live it."
